Class of 2016...freebie!

Congrats to the Class of 2016!!!
My daughter is graduating high school this weekend!
I am so proud and we are throwing a big party!
This freebie would make a great banner...save, cut, print and glue to jute/string!
*Please note that all freebies are for you to use to make a couple finished goods (no mass producing) and a couple gifts...they are still legally my designs.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is my daughter Selina!
Her high school colors are black and orange (love it!) and her cake and decorations will be those colors too.
This is my one and only so I protect this little chick like crazy....but I am going to have to let go soon.
She is going to learn from me...lots of computer classes and art...plus learning home based business.
So excited about her own laser cutting business.  Some of her products are pictured below.
She has an Etsy shop called: SelinaHudsonDesigns...which has all her jewelry, blanks and finished items.  Plus she sells through Checker Distributors.

She is well on her way....a very productive young woman.

Have a fabulous weekend!

Hearts hearts hearts...

I am just really getting into hearts and with that comes
VALENTINES.
I stitched this up...it will be one of 12 designs in my new pattern...
for embroidery necklaces.
They are put in my daughter's (did I tell she is a senior in high school?) mini hoop pendant blanks.
This bird in another design that will be in the pattern.
My pic is alittle dark....I was just too excited to share this, when I should have fixed the photo.
There are lots of birds out lately...I think they want spring...and so do I!
My daughter put this star necklace in her shop...simple and sweet.
She made a five pack...now she has where you can buy a single pendant blank with chain, a 3 pack and a five pack.
I am so addicted to these guys...and I couldn't be prouder of my daughter!

I have been working on my illustrator skills...turning my pen and ink drawing into a colorful design.

This is my drawing....which I had as a freebie last year.
It would be cute stitched up into a wearable pin!

I worked in illustrator to colorize it and then went nutty switching colors and saving everyone!!
The original colors were the top left one.
Oh man...I could do this 24/7!

If you want to learn repeating pattern design or more of adobe illustrator...I highly recommend Bonnie Christine's classes in both Creativelive and skillshare.
She is soooo generous with her information.
You need to be computer savvy and either have adobe illustrator or try the 30 day free offer of illustrator.
I have a hp PC, not a mac...so you can have either to do this.

Tootles!

Make your man happy...& inexpensively!

This year I decided to make a tall skinny tree....devoted to my husband's favorite team....the Seattle Seahawks!
He was really happy....since the whole house is my style and what I want as far as decorations.
The tree was 5.99 at goodwill....it is atleast 4 foot tall or more...but skinny.
The star was 99 cents- thrift store....garland....99 cents.
Most of the ornaments were from goodwill....99 cents for a box
I got a few special ornaments from craft fairs...everyone was Seahawk crazy...it is probably the same with your team in your area.
Plus buying at your local craft shows help our small businesses and your local crafts people.
The lights were just extras I had laying around.
This tree is so pretty and better of course in person.
Best of all...my husband loves looking at it....we are convinced it brought good luck to the last game...lol!

Just a reminder....
My BIG BIG SALE is now on!!!
40% off!!!!
Sorry ...the sale is now over
The sale is in my Etsy shop...use coupon code: Supersale
Use this code when checking out...if you need more info about using coupons...click here.
going on now ...until
Dec 3rd 11.59 pm (pacific standard time).

Halloween Jack

I can smell autumn dancing in the breeze....
This is my newest pattern:Halloween Jack Punch needle Pattern, #361
Celebrate a Merry Halloween...this punch needle design is perfect for your spooky home decor!
What a cute box topper & handy to store little supplies or treats. This punches up fast & is very easy. The banner says "Spooky" . The box is paper mache (1 Dollar at jo ann fabrics)...easy to make it look old.
I wanted to put candy corn in it, but I have not seen a smaller bag of it yet.
Every bag I see is huge and I would never eat that much candy corn ...lol.
This pattern is in my etsy shop and my Patternmart.
This is also available as a printed and mailed pattern on my website.
Finished punched design measures: 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"
I really love these fall colors...somehow it just makes me happier.
Have you decorated for fall?
I have not yet....I kinda want to and yet...I just want to put up Halloween when it is a touch closer.

Our County fair is coming this weekend and goes for 10 days...I can't wait to see if my daughter and I won prizes....hehehe.
I shall take pics!

Sum sum summertime

I think it is truly summertime now!
I can't wait to jump into my sister's pool...go camping....go to Seattle (lil visit), and all.
The warm weather has really hit us early.
I just created some summertime images in illustrator.
There are 14 different png clip art as shown above...each are separate in their own file. The backgrounds are transparent. These are high quality files.
There is a bunny in patriotic bathing suit, summer banner, anchor, toy boat, ice cream cone, Popsicle, smiling sun, margarita, lime, strawberry, lifesaver, star, shell, & starfish.

Here I put some of the images over this picture of my cat trix.
For a great free photo editor go to Pixlr
I love how she looks like she is holding the ice cream cone.
I caught her falling asleep in the tree...she was playing so hard with her siblings....it was hilarious.
I love the summer banner...I can't stop using it!
Here is an old pic of my sister Julie on the left, my dog sugar, and me.
I added shells, a boat and the summer banner.
I couldn't resist one more....my mock orange tree with a summer banner.

Craft show fun

Hi, I went to a local craft show yesterday...the Central Valley show in Spokane....and met up with some friends!
My pals Sarah and Karene (pictured above) had a great booth...Rchelle wasn't there yet.
Forgive me for my poor pics....I didn't realize my camera lens was dirty.

They shared a booth and put together their goods....it all goes together...looked fab!

I love the bunny in the strawberry carton especially

Uncle Sam...and friends
Lots of springy home decor.
These two had a terrific booth...loved their stuff.
There were cool signs with burlap and little steps...frames with wire....much more.
This is my daughter with her new owl hat.
We got a cool tray and my sis got a yellow frame with chicken wire to organize pics and postcards.
I am also going to use my tray as a backdrop for photography.
It was 20!
Cool star....only 5 bucks!
Ok...this was not at the craft show....we later went thrifting ....this was the first scary pic...
I did not buy this....yuck!
More to come later....
Have a great rest of your day!

Finished Heart design measures: 3 1/2" x 3 1/2", not including hanger.

These are sooooo easy...
Cut, glue, and glitter basically.
The artwork is included...and could be used as tags too.
The collage sheet can be printed over and over and over.
This pattern is in my etsy shop.
It is also on patternmart
Plus it is on my website too!

I also Have a brand new sign...."I Love us"
Great for anyone....married, dating, families....etc.
