HAPPY HALLOWEEN...from Lucky

Lucky wishes you all a
HAPPY
HALLOWEEN!
I carved our pumpkin into a Zombie this year.....
it was difficult, but I did it.
I usually do the typical jack o lantern look.
Creepy huh!
The pumpkin seeds are great ...I have been munching on them.
I also made some white chocolate witches...alot like the bunnies at Easter time.
I bought this with mold from Flavor tools on etsy...plus I got a turkey chocolate mold too!

My daughter got a cool crocheted Pokemon at an antique store this weekend.
So cute!
Let's welcome the Great Pumpkin....
Have a spooky time tonight!!!

Happy Birthday freebie and painted dollys

This one cracks me up!
We all know someone who is facing a milestone birthday...this would be amusing for them!
All in fun!
This would be a great gift tag!
*Please note that all freebies are for you to use to make finished goods (no mass producing) and gifts...they are still legally my designs.
---------------------------------------------
I wanted to share with you my painted dolls....
I can't find the picture of the dolls before painting them...I am so mad...oh well.
They started out primitive dolls ...drawn on muslin....and free motion stitched.
Then stuffed and added legs (that don't match)
I started painting them with a first coat.
She is a great teacher...online and you can purchases them and watch them over and over.
I highly recommend them...I have a few and they are terrific.
They are in rough form right now.
I added facial features.
She is starting to take shape...sweet face!
This is a whole load of fun to do!
More paint...shading and details.
My pumpkin gal is starting to also take shape...I knew I wanted to do a pumpkin....which is not part of the class....so I just tried to adapt.
I added the green stem and leaf.  There are pastels used as well as acrylic paint.
Their faces are done, but their bodies need work.
The rough edges are part of the charm.
Now the girl has stamps on her body, gold trim, a sweet crocheted flower in her hair and some distressing ink on her legs.
I kept looking through my junk for things to add to this pumpkin.
Now she has a little glitter and is done!
She has a button by her neckline and I added "Love".
I am shocked that it turned out so well...I kept thinking I was gonna screw it up along the way.

The pumpkin gal has a bow with glittery button, bat stamp, glitter, and "Boo" on her body.
I was glad I got this done before Halloween.
So much fun!
Have a great weekend!!!

I love fall flowers...especially in hues between orange and yellow.
This design would be adorable stitched into a little wearable pin for you jacket.
Maybe part embroidery on muslin and adding wool flowers.

Do you want a little Halloween tour of my home?
This is one of the dolls I made last year from a Sweet meadows farm pattern.
I love the fabric for her dress....one I try not to use...hoarding it.
I like to take random things and put them together.
I love the vintage paper garland.
Sweet and spooky ornaments.
My pics turned out sort of dark today...it was a very dark and rainy day.
Reading material...a little Edgar Allen Poe...spooky tales of Washington state and dark shadows!
Paper skeletons and a country painting.
I took down my pink and white shelf and put up this white one...with lots of decorating possibilities!
I was very happy I did this.
See the BOO letters...goodwill.
I have lots of skulls...One of my favorite movies is "The Skull" with Peter Cushing....corny yet good!!
BABY HEAD...
if that doesn't scare you....nothing will!
I want to strap a pumpkin cart to my cat Froy but he would go bonkers....lol
Crazy eyeball ornaments....Target!
I strung up some jute and clothes-pinned some cool masks to it on my china hutch!
My fav is ET!
This is a negative of a photograph....I put it in the window for a spooky feeling!
One of my first quilts I made using a pattern....hand quilted.
I painted those books....just ordinary throw away books...and turned them into spooky reads!
More dolls....2 bucks a head at a thrift store.
I painted that candy corn pot at least 20 years ago...they were good sellers art the time.
My lite up witch is truly ugly...lol
Trix said she wanted to photo bomb this pic!
She was very lovey dovey.
In my hutch is alot of vintage collectibles....noisemakers, paper diecuts, teapot, lanterns....etc...
More dolls on my dining room table.
Skeleton hands from the dollar store (salad tongs) and a vintage dorky doll head.
It makes for a fun catching game.
Trix was sabotaging my efforts in taking a pic of my table.
Cool pumpkin canvas that lights up next to candy corn colored trees.
I needle felted that pumpkin....with the purple eyes.
A witch, Dracula and franky!
Can't have enough skulls.
My mantle!
Big witch....she is pretty in a way.
My "Bones" collection from Yankee candle.
I get alot of Halloween goodies from goodwill!
I like to decorate my book shelves.
This is my white deer....with goofy mask and  bats hanging from it!
Witches and cats...oh my!
The queen of Halloween....my giant badge.
I used to cross stitch a bunch!
I am glad I kept this witch for myself!
My mom's piano...a perfect place to decorate.
This guy plays some eerie music.
It's so fun to get this all out...but sad when it's all over.
Have a witchy weekend!!!
