Life's a stitch & Halloween corsages

This week has been CRAZY!
I hope things get back to normal...and become relaxing and tranquil.
I guess life is full of surprises...and sometimes they come in multiples!
Oh well...I have faith that all will be fine in the end.
Do you ever feel this way?

I drew this freebie up to reflect a happy note...lol.
This would make a fun tag!
*Please note that all freebies are for you to use to make a couple finished goods (no mass producing) and a couple gifts...they are still legally my designs.

Do you love a big splashy corsage?
I do!
I had to make a fun pattern with corsages....then I thought that these would also be great for other projects too!
Like this fun a simple wreath!

My new pattern:
comes with patterns and instructions to make all the above elements.

These are just some of the corsages you can make!
This fun pattern has all the elements to make your own big corsage for a party or an evening out.
They look terrific on your coat or blouse. You can make them big & splashy or more demure.

You can make fun ornaments...
or They can be kitchen magnets or gift toppers as well.
Designs included: Witch, Frankenstein, pumpkins, skull, ghost, cat, owl, leaves, bat, spider, scarecrow, flowers, candy corn, eyeball & much more!
These are easy and kids would love to make them too. This is a BIG pattern!! There are lots of instructions, detailed pattern pieces, and photos!

I love how each one is very different and can have the elements you like the best.
My daughter modeled a few for me...
I love owls!
Spider!
I had a spider crawl in my ear once...it came from above the hottub...I freaked out and went under water...I have never recovered....lol.

This pattern is also on my website (printed and mailed paper patterns) and on Patternmart as well.

I made this with the crazy eyeball...flowers for lashes.
The ideas are limitless!!!

Halloween Pumpkin yarn Dream catchers

Isn't this cute?
I love making easy peasy crafts...that turn out pretty darned adorable!
These halloween dream catchers....wave in the wind of a nearby tree...spooky, but too cute~
I made these yarn dream catchers  above in May and put them on my blog...
They are still looking fab!
So I thought I could take the same idea and make halloween pumpkins!
I gathered up the usual suspects.....lol...
yarns, strings, embroidery hoops (any size or sizes), glue, felt...
They are simply made by wrapping yarn around the middle (inside) hoop....you put the outer  embroidery hoop aside for now.
Hold your beginning end in place or glue it down, and once another piece wraps around it then it stays in place.  If you just wrap the yarn around the hoop and and move the yarn slightly each time, then everything will stay in place.
I have had this orange yarn for a while...just waiting for a project.
Sometimes you just have a left over skein or ball of yarn...perfect for wrapping around a hoop.
Wrap, wrap, wrap until you like the fullness of it.
Then place your outer hoop around it and tighten.
I cut out some felt eyes, nose and mouth....
and here is one of the faces.
I added alittle white felt for highlights in eyes.
I think hot gluing the face on is best.
This is the tiny guy...love the funny teeth.
They are fun and silly....
At the bottom is just some long string tied on or looped through the hoop.
These took no time at all!
I added a string to tie them into the trees.
The wind will make them float around.
This is a big 12" hoop.
Any size is fun...
I often get embroidery hoops at thrifts stores and garage sales.
They are so cheap and then so is the yarn and felt.

It's not how much you have...

Oh, what a true statement!
I wish everyone would understand this....I know way too many people who think that what they own and how much ... is the most important aspect of life....so wrong.

This would make an inspirational framed stitchery!
Copy and save!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a sneak peak of a cool pattern I am almost done with...this is just one element of it.
I think you will like it very much!
I got a few things the other day...just thought I would share with you...
a vintage party hat and vintage cupcake toppers....
a vintage noisemaker...
yes I have a lot now...I am trying to control myself, but it is hard.
My daughter Selina drew this cat like the vintage one and laser cut it in wood...and then glittered it...
it is quite big and has party streamer fringe.
I love this...I think I will just take it for myself...hehehe,
She also made nut cups....

and pins to wear.
At an antique store I got this coloring book,,,,it is big and not colored in (crazy , I know!).
cool cross stitch pattern.... 99 cents....can't beat that!
I usually don't like anything too scary but this doll cracked me up...
Then when I got home and squeezed her alittle she glowed and said scary stuff like "Talking Tina" from the twilight zone...pretty funny!!
I got some dorky stuff.
I got this cool Jim shore snowman music box...nothing wrong with it...and it is adorable.
cool reproduction halloween sign.
1925 Christmas book...
ok...I love a derpy cat!
She is saying ... love me!
and I do
-----------------------------------------------------
tragically...
In our town...there was a school shooting...at Freeman high school.
Another horrible shooting!
Why can't there be an answer to all this?
Something needs to change.

Sending out love to the kids and parents.
