Christmas village & quilt show

Hey everyone!
I have been very busy lately....I bet you have been too!
Up above is a Christmas painting....kind of Grandma Moses style....that I recently painted.
See the snowmen waving to each other.
In the center of the painting is the Christmas tree, my favorite part.
I like to have a child like quality in my paintings.
This little red house is decked with lights and a wreath!
Here is how I start out my paintings....covering the canvas with old papers and gesso.
I then pencil in the basic features I will be painting.
I added trees
and then added the house
I try to leave some paper uncovered....I got quite carried away with paint though.
I added rock driveways and paths.
The moon is glowing...and I just keep adding layer after layer.
The process is fun and I just work on other areas of the painting while some of it dries...
it is such fun.

Here are some pics from my booth at the WSQ Quilt show...which was last weekend!
You know I love Halloween!
I had a big double booth...which was awesome!
Here is a shot of the whole booth from the far corner.
She had lots of finished rings and earrings.
My mannequin was all dolled up in halloween...People loved the big corsages.
Selina's needle minders are  always a big hit...they make great gifts.
which are featured in the current Winter 2019 Quilts and more magazine!
They designed a few free designs to go with her products!   Check out the magazine at news stands now.
I am so proud of her!
My valentines....so cheerful!
My Thanksgiving ornaments....I love them.
Everyone enjoys this ghost....he has been handled a lot...he is hanging with the willow tree.
I got this rotating display at a thrift store recently....very happy with it.
We got out banner from vista print...I designed it and downloaded it on vista print...very easy and pretty cheap.
I really cram as many samples as I can into my booth.
Selina made some new key chains for Quilters.
My coloring calendars for 2019...with crayons...and my fabric!
The embroidery dolls with their mini quilts and my new wool treat boxes....
We had great fun, it was my best show ever.....and I loved talking to all the customers and new friends.

Happy October to you!

Hey...It's October already!
Time flies and I love this month so much!
There is always so much going on around here...from the WSQ Quilt show... to Halloween.... to going to all the farms for apples and pumpkin donuts... visitors.. my husband's birthday....and it goes on and on!
Are you busy too?

and a cool desktop calendar for you computer.
I designed these pumpkin scarecrows from drawings I made and then illustrated them.
I actually do a ton of work on the computer.
I really love every minute of it.

Do you love to color? Do you need a small calendar in your office or home?

I colored up some of them to show you how cute they are!
I have mine by my computer...small enough to not take over the whole space.

It is a PDF Instant Download(file), That I created. I drew and designed these. 12 months come on 3 different pages...just download instantly, print on white cardstock or regular paper....and cut out.

Each one fits the theme of the month!
Each month measures: 3 15/16" x 5".
This is Great for anyone who loves to color! They look great hanging on small clips or on a clipboard. The kids could color these and give them to their grandparents too.

This is how they look uncolored.
**Plus makes a great stocking stuffer (just print and cut out...tie them together with a box of crayons...so easy and inexpensive).

******This cannot be sold as a file or as a calendar....gift giving only! ******

And on another note...you could use the drawings for embroidery (no embroidery instructions are given however).

I hope you have a wonderful start to this October!
