Lucky me, I have you....

It's that time of the year...the love of the green!
I have a new set of Ornaments....8 different designs....

These ornaments are just the perfect addition to your St. Patrick's day decor. The designs are..."Lucky", vase of clovers, When irish eyes are smiling, sweet bird, Happy rainbow shamrock, lucky me I have you, clovers and shamrocks, and Leprechaun kitty cat. Make a batch today... so fast & easy. Hang them on a tree, stack in a basket or bowl, tuck them on a shelf or have them adorn a package.

I love the rainbow on this one!
Add little border strips of green fabric to make the designs pop! I used green with gold dots and some light polka dots too.
Embroidery designs measure: from 1 7/8" x 3 1/2" to 2 5/8" x 3 1/4"
Finished: from 2" x 4" to 3" x 4 1/8"

This is back of the ornaments or bowl fillers.

The designs would also make great wearable pins.
My daughter Selina is holding the vase of clovers....
I put my ornaments on my White tree.

I love the shamrocks are clovers....

I used a fun variegated floss on the word lucky....filling in the letters.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I added a few of my art prints.
Above is my Big Eye kitty cat painting....she is handing out a gift...a single flower.

This lovely lady is strolling though her garden....maybe picking flowers for a bouquet.
I love the blue hair.

I call this one...Queen of her castle.  She is coming home....and this is her safe place, her castle.

I almost expect a fairy to pop right in.
I put Kermit the frog next to my print in my livingroom...its cute.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I always put it on my tablet....very cheerful.
Just download and save to your device, then select it as a wallpaper.

I also made one for your desktop....the light green on the side is great to arrange your icons over to the side and still see them.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
My daughter Selina just keeps having wonderful ideas...
Jars are so popular and she came up with these sweeties.
These mini jar blanks (3 are in this pack) are just the perfect way to finish your embroidery design and makes a great gift!

The 3 pack comes with 9 designs...Honey bee, Made with love, flowers, yes I can!, Strawberry jam, Kawaii cherries, Farm fresh, Butterflies, and roses..... and of course instructions.
My fav is the strawberry jam.

Do you get the play on words?  Pretty funny and cool.

We had a jar of sewing goodies in the studio...so I put one of the jars on a jar.
You can add pretty fabric, cross-stitch, beading, stamped out words and sayings, plus much more.
***You can add a wash of watercolors to the jar to change the color....this takes seconds...and is really easy!

This is the cover!

She has been getting all kinds of good news...one of them being that she has 4 distributors!  Plus another big deals in the works!

I'm so proud of her and super excited.

Have a very Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The print will have a clear protective bag.

Isn't it cute framed up!

A valentine girl chenille stem dolly...on a spool. She is holding a heart and love envelope....and has a cute pink dress with trims and glitter. OOAK. 5 1/2" tall. Ooh la la.

Her face is another piece of art I painted....a pouty little girl.  She stands nicely and is super sweet.

A sweet wooden ornament...with a kitty cat and heart basket (we designed) ...hand painted....with lovely seam binding ribbon for a hanger. (2 3/4" x 2 3/4" not including ribbon length)

I just love the wood ornament....our special design.

10 heart tags in pink, red and white. 2" x 2" not including length of bakers twine. Hand stamped, great for gifts, adding to decor and snail mail.

One wood hexie pendant with embroidery pattern for hearts (Not finished item) as shown. Really easy and fun to do! (hexie measures: 1 5/8" x 1 5/8")

Happy December!

Wow...it's the last month of the year!
We are getting really close to a the year 2019....are you ready for it?
I made these sweet candles ...which remind me of retro Christmas designs of the 60's.
Here is a free tablet/phone calendar for December...click here for the download.

and here is the Desktop calendar for your computer.
The left side darker blue area is perfect for you icons to be seen.

This is a busy month...I hope this makes keeping track of the days easier.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I love stitching...and small projects are so satisfying.
I decided to buy this cute design for Wild Olive/ Mollie Johanson
This design is one of many in a pattern called Teeny tiny occasions.
It has lots of little holidays- right up my alley.

I used C & T publishing wash-away stitch stabilizer.
You can print your designs onto a sheet....cut out the shape or design and stick it right to the muslin.
Then you stitch.  After that you rinse the stabilizer away under plain water.
No tracing.....easy peasy.
It was soooo fast.
I then put it in my daughter Selina's mini hoop pendant blank.
These are super easy to use...just pop in your design.

I made a simple little red embroidery floss tassel to add to the chain.
I will have to make a small tutorial for it soon...super easy.
I added blush to the cheek's of the wreath to make her come alive.
I can't wait to wear it!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just letting you know that this "It's the most wonderful time of the year" mat pattern is now in my Etsy shop.
This one is cute on a shelf or as a candle mat.

On Thanksgiving....us ladies decided to watch a watercoloring class and get painting.
It was a lot of fun and we all had a very different lady after we were done.
The left was my sister Julie, and middle was my daughter Selina's and the right one is mine.

I gave her curly hair.
While the men watched football, we were creative.
I want to do this again soon...hopefully with all my sisters together.

This is a closeup of another girl I painted...I love her nose...lol.
Painting can really become addictive.

I thought you would like this vintage Santa postcard image...so sweet!
Happy December!

Christmas village & quilt show

Hey everyone!
I have been very busy lately....I bet you have been too!
Up above is a Christmas painting....kind of Grandma Moses style....that I recently painted.
See the snowmen waving to each other.
In the center of the painting is the Christmas tree, my favorite part.
I like to have a child like quality in my paintings.
This little red house is decked with lights and a wreath!
Here is how I start out my paintings....covering the canvas with old papers and gesso.
I then pencil in the basic features I will be painting.
I added trees
and then added the house
I try to leave some paper uncovered....I got quite carried away with paint though.
I added rock driveways and paths.
The moon is glowing...and I just keep adding layer after layer.
The process is fun and I just work on other areas of the painting while some of it dries...
it is such fun.

Here are some pics from my booth at the WSQ Quilt show...which was last weekend!
You know I love Halloween!
I had a big double booth...which was awesome!
Here is a shot of the whole booth from the far corner.
She had lots of finished rings and earrings.
My mannequin was all dolled up in halloween...People loved the big corsages.
Selina's needle minders are  always a big hit...they make great gifts.
which are featured in the current Winter 2019 Quilts and more magazine!
They designed a few free designs to go with her products!   Check out the magazine at news stands now.
I am so proud of her!
My valentines....so cheerful!
My Thanksgiving ornaments....I love them.
Everyone enjoys this ghost....he has been handled a lot...he is hanging with the willow tree.
I got this rotating display at a thrift store recently....very happy with it.
We got out banner from vista print...I designed it and downloaded it on vista print...very easy and pretty cheap.
I really cram as many samples as I can into my booth.
Selina made some new key chains for Quilters.
My coloring calendars for 2019...with crayons...and my fabric!
The embroidery dolls with their mini quilts and my new wool treat boxes....
We had great fun, it was my best show ever.....and I loved talking to all the customers and new friends.
