Valentine sweeties

Hello Friend!
The weather has been crazy hasn't it?!
We had fridged temps and I must say I hated it... but everything comes to an end... and things got better.
I also had my wisdom teeth pulled out and was pretty miserable for 2 weeks.  Usually I am not such a baby when it comes to the dentist but this took the cake!
I have to go back tomorrow..ugh!

On a happier note-
I have a new design finished.
Stitch up these easy valentine ornaments from scraps of wool or felt.
This is perfect to use up your scraps!

I do love hexagons!
Use very simple stitches.
These make great pins or bowl fillers too.

6 designs in one.
There are hearts,flowers and more!
They make a great gift and look amazing on a package. Use bakers twine or string for a sweet hanger.

I love the softness of the heart vine.

I have so many scraps... I love putting them to good use.
I love making these in the evening while watching TV.
You could also make a darling little magnets.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hand painted some valentine ornaments...they are flat plastic discs...there is a front and a back on each.

I hand painted these and the backs either have a saying or are painted with hearts.

All are signed and dated.

They come with a ribbon hanger.

Each one is unique.
I have a white tree I decorate for every holiday... I love ornaments for all holidays.
You could also hang them anywhere.
a black haired cutie.
little valentines
Bunny kisses.

Now ... I have to show you my Grand baby Jessica!
She is 2 months old!
She is the light of our lives and such a sweetie!
A friend is a Greenbay Packers fan and bought her this...
he was dying for her to wear it!

Her Grandpa is a Gonzaga Bulldogs fan and they dressed up for a game!

Cheerleading...lol

She is a good natured baby and smart (do I sound like a proud grandma?)

She is also fashionable...gotta wear it before she grows out of it!

Here is momma Selina and Jessica.
Selina and Jaryd are very good parents and seem like old pros at it.
I love babysitting and playing with her. It will be nice when the weather gets better for strolling around the neighborhood.

Merry March to you!

Wow...Lovely March is here.
I am so happy...our snow melted and there is alot of green grass out there.
The green colors are so beautiful...life renewing!
To me...March is all about the green!

I painted this lil lady with shamrocks and thought it would be perfect for the March calendars.

I am really happy about things getting better on the covid fight.  Its been 2 long years.  I am hoping it is truly behind us now. I guess we will see.

I have a new little pattern:
Make these Chenille ornaments in no time. Artwork for dolls included!
These dolls are made using my doll faces... I painted.... a couple different leprechauns, a sassie lassie, bunny and cat. The images for faces are great resolution...they fit on one page...but can be print over and over.

I have pictures with all instructions....its super easy....simple supplies too! I give extra ideas too. Make a bunch for you and your friends!
Ornaments measures: 5 1/2" x 5"

There are 17 doll faces to a page. Copy artwork or print artwork again and make limitless dolls.
These dolls are great hanging in holiday trees, on gifts, would make cute wearable pins, great for craft shows and fun for your spring decor.

The cat's have a tail...big eyes!

This is an example of the doll heads sheet.
The one in the pattern is super great quality....all my own artwork.

More examples of how you can use the chenille stem dolls...put on top of a pot of gold.....

Hanging from a couple ornaments too.

Other stuff I recently made:

You know how I loved my precious cat Froy, who recently passed away...I made a little froy ornament of him...he is holding his favorite toy that I called rainbow snake.
This makes me smile and not so sad.

I painted this large painting of a girl and her butterflies.
It was fun and really was therapeutic.
Magic really comes from doing whatever art you like to do.
I take online art classes to learn something new...I love mindy lacefield ones....check out her youtube videos!

Have a Wonderful March!

Welcome 2022!

Wow....it's 2022!
Can you believe it?
I am ready for a new year...and ready for some happier times.
I have been vaccinated and boosted....but the anniversary of my brother's death is upon me and it saddens me greatly. I also lost a long time friend this past year too...I am sure you have dealt with so much too.
I am hoping this new year will be brighter.
Let's get to some fun things...
I made these calendars using my own artwork.
