It's not how much you have...

Oh, what a true statement!
I wish everyone would understand this....I know way too many people who think that what they own and how much ... is the most important aspect of life....so wrong.

This would make an inspirational framed stitchery!
Copy and save!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a sneak peak of a cool pattern I am almost done with...this is just one element of it.
I think you will like it very much!
I got a few things the other day...just thought I would share with you...
a vintage party hat and vintage cupcake toppers....
a vintage noisemaker...
yes I have a lot now...I am trying to control myself, but it is hard.
My daughter Selina drew this cat like the vintage one and laser cut it in wood...and then glittered it...
it is quite big and has party streamer fringe.
I love this...I think I will just take it for myself...hehehe,
She also made nut cups....

and pins to wear.
At an antique store I got this coloring book,,,,it is big and not colored in (crazy , I know!).
cool cross stitch pattern.... 99 cents....can't beat that!
I usually don't like anything too scary but this doll cracked me up...
Then when I got home and squeezed her alittle she glowed and said scary stuff like "Talking Tina" from the twilight zone...pretty funny!!
I got some dorky stuff.
I got this cool Jim shore snowman music box...nothing wrong with it...and it is adorable.
cool reproduction halloween sign.
1925 Christmas book...
ok...I love a derpy cat!
She is saying ... love me!
and I do
-----------------------------------------------------
tragically...
In our town...there was a school shooting...at Freeman high school.
Another horrible shooting!
Why can't there be an answer to all this?
Something needs to change.

Sending out love to the kids and parents.

This week I worked on some repeating halloween designs...like Franky and his gal pal..
they are holding their treat bag and doing some serious trick or treating.
It was fun playing with colors and changing things up a bit.
I drew this and watercolored it on sunday...while by my sister's pool.
I love bringing a small watercolor pad and just making something up on the spot.
I can always sell the original, scan it and make it into a print or tags, or I could make it into a repeating pattern design...
the sky's the limit.
This is going to be make next pattern...but it won't look like this when you see it next!
I also was playing around with raw edge applique...so much fun and so much texture!
I will share more about this next week.
Have a terrific weekend!

I was looking after my sister....she had hip surgery....and I had a chance to go to this antique store...that has bags of political pins for $5.00.
So I got 2 bags...and got quite the variety...of both parties!
I like to put these out in my patriotic decor...plus there is something cool about knowing these were worn by people who were excited about a candidate.

I illustrated some new designs to go with my pansies....and put them in this star shape.

Froy relaxing among the enemy...called dandelions!
He keeps getting into little fights with other cats...trying to protect his area.

Want to see a transformation?
This is my Valentine kitty cat...
It is very pink and very girly....
My friend Sue made it completely different...her own spin and
I just LOVE it!.
I love how it's now a Halloween kitty...with a pumpkin instead of a heart.
Kittie's face is so cool and I love the glittery orange tinsel and the little pumpkin it's holding.
Sue is very talented!  I love seeing all her fairies and dolls at the Custer Craft show.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sneaky peak time....
I will have a new Halloween pattern out soon...so be
WARNED!!!
I am trying to be spooky!
---------------------------------------------------
I keep adding to my Mrstiddlemouse etsy shop...everything on it is either finished handmade goods or antiques.
This is the mini mannequin pincushion....it is the finished product shown in the picture. It is made from beautiful pins fabric. It measures: 8" high...2 3/4" wide. This is so adorable next to your sewing machine or sitting by you while you stitch. It has a has a handkerchief apron, blue seambinding ribbon, vintage buttons, pins, and clear glass stand with buttons in it. The apron has embroidery with a cute pink button. This makes a great friendship swap or gift.

This pincushion fits onto a spool of thread...very handy, Super fast to make, & makes great gifts! These are great sellers at craft shows.

The kitty comes with vintage Blue chenille to make one kitty...there is also a golf tee, embroidery thread, pins for whiskers and buttons for eyes. You can then make tons of kitties with your own supplies!  Design measures: 5" x 2 3/4" including tee.  I sell just the PDF pattern here.

Let's say Hello to Autumn....and
Hello Weekend!

This and that... plus sneaky peaky

Sneaky peaky time!
My next pattern is coming soon...and it's HAlloweeny!
This closeup sure shows my muslin and floss threads.
If you love embroidery....then you will love this one!
DMC gave me some cool color variations to work with.
It is like a rainbow for stitching!
I am thinking up all kinds of punch needle ideas....the variations would give great texture.
The blues would make great water scenes and ice/winter scenes.
I love the pinks however.
Early this summer I got this light box.
It is a cool light up sign that plugs in to a USB/plug in with adapter or batteries.
Last night we were playing with it alot.  You can change the letters...and write anything....My hubby made this sign for us.  I bought the flowery background to go with it.
This is going to be great at my quilt shows...in my living room as a fun sign and on my office shelf.
We had a terrible storm the other day...it came so fast and furious.
It was crazy wind, huge hail and caused alot of garden damage.
This above is my chives under tons of ice.
This is my little potting hutch outside...covered in ice...I had to get it off the plants...the temperature was cold too.
I had to scoop this stuff away from plants because it was not melting.

But now the temps are in the 90's....and going up....strange crazy weather!
