Catnip mouse embroidery drawing freebie

I love making catnip mice for my cats, complete with jingle bells because they love hearing it.
This is an embroidery freebie....copy and save....stitch up!
This would make a great tag!

Today I set up for the big Washington State Quilt show, we have a double booth this year.
I am in spot 39 and it is nice and roomy!

There was no rain...and that was great because all week the weather guy said we would be poured on.
I was not looking forward to keeping everything dry.

We have a different spot and I thought that would be bad, but I think it will be great actually.

Setting up was easier with a bigger spot, which eases stress.

But of course I had to do something to screw it up....lol
I was digging for bins and a heavy one landed on my hand,
I had a big goose egg looking lump on my hand...throbbing and driving me a little nutty.
All is well though....I just look crazy ...lol.

Come by the show in Spokane Washington...at the fairgrounds.
This is one of the nicest quilt shows around and the shopping is terrific.

Have a great weekend!

Shine bright...freebie embroidery design

I love glitter!
This is my freebie this week..."Shine Bright".
I stitched it using a darker pink floss and added seed beads on the dot areas.
It fits perfectly in my daughter Selina's hexie pendant blank.
Selina has all kinds of wooden pendant blanks and more in her etsy shop and on her website.

I added glitter to this...just some glue and pink glitter....the picture didn't show off the glitter has cute as it really is though.
Copy and save...
This is her hexie 3 pack....and it comes with this bunny design.
She also has tons of other packs!

We share a studio...so I just walk right on over to her stash and choose what I want...I am spoiled!

I wanted to share something I made years ago....It was supposed to be a bird feeder full of seeds...
It is a scrap of a wood 4 x 4 post...hooked onto a round cake tin.
Then I painted it and added butterflies too.
I just could never bring myslef to put it outside because I knew it would get yucky!
So I added some buttons to it and it looks great in my studio!  I have this orange wood spoon to scoop with.
Cute huh!
I love raffia too...makes fun bows.

My birthday was last week....I wanted to show some of my goodies....

My sister Angie gave me a very old game....
Charlie McCarthy''s flying hats....from the 1930's.
My cousin Virginia made me a very funny gift....a mannequin head...that represents the outdoor movie we watched...called The Frozen dead!  The eyes light up and everything!
Here is the movie poster...we had a projector and huge screen to show it on...right in our backyard!
It is scary and campy!
I was so afraid of this movie when I was a little kid....it is 50 years old too.
Sue gave me this funny book too....right up my alley....
I had to show this one...cracked me up!
funny old cards too.
I also got a value village gift card, lovely yankee candle, easter plate, furry chair, blanket, my sister Julie gave me a box of old valentines and letters, sewing machine and some sweet moolaa!

I got some patriotic fabric....
lots of strips of fabric...
dirt cheap at a thrift store.
I got this pattern...not for the pattern but....
I wanted these orange fabrics inside.

Blue bird of happiness...

Some where over the rainbow...where blue birds fly...there is happiness!~~
This was super fun to make!
This is done mainly with a backstitch...and 3 strands of floss.
Lighten your spirit with this sweet hand embroidery quilt design.
This is a perfect way to decorate your home, add sweet charm to a nursery or make it into a gift for a friend who needs some cheer!
Make the design into the small quilt as shown or a pillow! It is very fast and easy to stitch up!

This picture really shows the quilting I did....I quilted on the muslin area, but not over the embroidery.

Here I added my nest basket that matched perfectly....I couldn't resist.
Now the lil quilt is in my dining room.

These are my violets outside my kitchen....so sweet and very much like a pansy.
I love the orange purple combo! (Walmart!)
I made a new coloring page....Get your happy on!
I love pansies....they are so delicate, small and HAPPY!
We had a cat named Pansy when I was little...my mom said her little face was just like a pansy.
It has always been my favorite flower...so I really wanted to create some surface pattern designs with them and  make this coloring page.
This is Great for anyone who loves to color! It could also be great stitched up...an embroidery project. There are no instructions however...just the page shown above. My signature will be at the bottom of the page. It prints on regular paper, 8 1/2" x 11".
Have a very Happy Tuesday!!!

I love cherries too.

I recently made a new banner...
Be Mine Valentine digital Banner... A super easy craft...kids can do it too!
It is a SET OF 12 small banner flags WILL GET YOU READY FOR Valentine's day...WE ARE SO READY!!!!!
I painted the girls and hearts...converted them to the flag shapes and also made extra flowers and motifs as an illustration ...so that all the colors go together perfectly.
All you do is print, cut out...(add glitter if you want) and glue them onto a string or baker's twine.
The banner can be any length. Each sheet has 12 flags....you could print as many as you need. Each little flag measures: 3 3/4" x 1 9/16".
I hung mine up....it is so festive!
I need to now make a St. Patrick's day one!
My daughter Selina has some new cute Valentine heart necklaces in her etsy shop!
These are free motion stitched...and they are framed in her pendant blanks...so sweet!
Earlier in the week I played around with Stabilo chalk colored pencils...I colored in my queen of hearts drawing and blended everything in.
It was amazing just playing around....I also got a "Little house on the prairie" coloring book....good times!
This is a sneak peak of my next pattern....
can't wait to get it out there!

Have a
Happy Weekend!
