This and that... plus sneaky peaky

Sneaky peaky time!
My next pattern is coming soon...and it's HAlloweeny!
This closeup sure shows my muslin and floss threads.
If you love embroidery....then you will love this one!
DMC gave me some cool color variations to work with.
It is like a rainbow for stitching!
I am thinking up all kinds of punch needle ideas....the variations would give great texture.
The blues would make great water scenes and ice/winter scenes.
I love the pinks however.
Early this summer I got this light box.
It is a cool light up sign that plugs in to a USB/plug in with adapter or batteries.
Last night we were playing with it alot.  You can change the letters...and write anything....My hubby made this sign for us.  I bought the flowery background to go with it.
This is going to be great at my quilt shows...in my living room as a fun sign and on my office shelf.
We had a terrible storm the other day...it came so fast and furious.
It was crazy wind, huge hail and caused alot of garden damage.
This above is my chives under tons of ice.
This is my little potting hutch outside...covered in ice...I had to get it off the plants...the temperature was cold too.
I had to scoop this stuff away from plants because it was not melting.

But now the temps are in the 90's....and going up....strange crazy weather!

Lots of goodies!!

I had some fun this weekend...mainly shopping with one of my sisters... Cecilia!
We hit a craft show and some antique stores...just goofing around in the rain.
I love collecting old paper holiday decor...like this bunny with the honeycomb egg.

This bunny goes with it!
They are so cheerful!
These are fun little plant pokes,,,just a stick with a pom pom and some cute Easter die cuts.
Cute chick!
I got a fabric fringy Edison light and shade. This is by C street Creations.
My hubby even loves it.
Vintage Easter egg die kit...still has everything inside.
By the way...look at snoopy toward the bottom....cute lil guy!
This is a huge egg...made from boards...loved it!
Very cute sewing machine pincushion!... by Geri's Whimseys.
It was only 5 dollars!
Washington state sign....love that blue color.
The heart is a weave of string on nails.
I love collecting mannequins and bust...I snagged this at the Two women shop...I was in heaven.
She has glass eyes.
I can put my daughter Selina's necklace on it!
By the way...my daughter made a Youtube tutorial...showing how easy it is to use her mini wood hoop pendant blanks!  Please check it out!!!
She is very clever on the computer as well as being crafty!

Gotta get busy!!
Have a marvelous Monday!

Candy cane wishes....

Every year I get a few of those big stick candy canes....for watching Christmas movies and shows with.  They are so good and last a long time.
I have always loved Candy canes.
I had to add a candy cane to my latest pattern.....
This is also on my website and patternmart.
She is a real sweetie!
This is the very last Christmas pattern this year...I am behind as usual.
It is hard to work ahead of the season.
Christmas time is almost upon us! Celebrate with this cutie.  Such a charming embroidery project....so quick, easy and fun to do.  Simply sweet!  Finish the embroidery in a hoop!  This makes a great gift and is so lovely in your home decor.
Finished design in hoop measures: 8 1/2" x 8 3/4"
Embroidery design measures: 7 3/8" x 4 5/8"
Here are a few more pictures from my home...I love having Charlie Brown and his gang around.
I love putting old Christmas pics around....from when my daughter was little.
The Christmas pickle.
We went shopping for my Irish ring...in the all things Irish store the deal was, if you found the pickle you would get 20% off.
We looked and looked...couldn't find it....so I made my final decision of the ring....My husband looked again and found the pickle!  We got the savings and the pickle was free.
Now we have it on our tree and it will always remind us of that special day!
(Yes...I have a white tree!)
I made this years ago...when there was the craze to make everything with a light.
Still love it!
It sits next to Santa bear.

Next week is Christmas....yikes....too soon!

Pumpkins pumpkins in a row....

I am so excited....Halloween is coming and it is time to....
DECORATE!!!
Yay....I love to get my house all spooky, lit up, and smelling like pumpkin spice!
This is my newest pattern:
Pumpkins... pumpkins in a row, light the night with an eerie glow!
I hid some goodies inside the box.....now sitting on my desk for when I want a snack.
Light up your Halloween with this sweet treat container! Make these adorable pumpkins from wool or felt...so easy and fast. Hide your treats in the box....or make this into an adorable sewing supply box, make the pumpkins your pincushion!

The pumpkins would also make a great ornament too.
Fun and easy for craft show!
I love making banners!
This makes a great display & a fun gift!
Design measures: 9" tall x 10" wide
--------------------
Now I am going to decorate my home before my daughter and hubby get home....
it is fun yet I don't want to be distracted...because I have a lot of stuff....yikes!
