Welcome 2020! A New decade of fun awaits!

Happy New Year!!!
Let's celebrate!
Wow.......A new decade!
Can you believe it's January.... with a fresh start to everything?
I love the potential of a clean slate.
I drew up some pretty snowflakes, in many shades of blue background.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BIG NEWS!!!!!
My book is now on Pre-sale!  It comes out March 2020 from C & T Publishing!
I decided that I really wanted to create a book on hand embroidery that features all the holidays and special moments throughout the year.  I really enjoy decorating for the holidays and I also love the relaxing quality of embroidery. So I put them together.

My book is full of cute motifs and designs with a modern yet vintage flair. There are wall hangings, little quilts, pillows, hoop art, mug rugs, pincushions and framed embroideries.

My Easter bunny hoop art is on the cover of the latest catalog.
You can order it early on C & T Publishing,  AmazonSearch PressEE Schenck,  and Checker Distributors.

This above are more details in the catalog....projects for each month, birthdays and sweet celebrations.
I can't wait to receive the book and go through it... dreams do come true.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have two new patterns out....

Stitch up this quick design that features a sweet cat that loves

Make it up in a cute pillow adorned with easy to make felt & wool flowers.

The word January is optional of course.

February Kitty Cat Embroidery pillow pattern #403

February is all about love, Valentine's day, Chocolate and roses!

Stitch up this quick design that features a sweet cat that loves
celebrating with a balloon.
Make it up in a cute pillow adorned with easy to make felt & wool flowers.

I really love this one a lot!  I love the reds and pinks together.

Here is a close up of the flowers.... all patterns and details on how to make them are in the pattern.
They are very easy and take only scraps of wool or felt.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I received some awesome art supplies for Christmas....so I had to try them out.....
I painted a little sweetie...holding some hearts.
I also just played around with simple shapes and adding black ink sharpie.

Here is what she looked like earlier in the process.... she was pretty plain at first.
I love to layer watercolor ans then add colored pencils, stabilo black pencil and white paint pens.

One of the watercolor sets was a jane davenport set....michaels has all kinds of her goodies.
Plus she has amazing art books that are really helpful.

This one is pure shimmery fun...lots of glitter and softness.

You really can't tell from the photo but it is super shimmery and it adds such a pretty sheen to the painting.

I love making bunnies a part of Valentines.  Bunnies want to be more than an Easter object...lol.
They have the fur to keep warm.
