Sunny Sunday for a tabby cat

It's a super sunny Sunday!

My daffodils are looking swell!

I cut a bunch for my vases inside.

Froy decided to find me near the firepit.

I am cleaning out my back end of my studio....and found a broken basket.

Froy says....wait...don't throw this away!

Then he went to some dirt and rolled.

Feeling good!

I have five million of these in my yard!

Lucky spotted the broken basket and decided he liked it.....saying...I'm keeping this!

He stuffed himself in it.....and then later rolled in dirt too!

The life of a cat!

My other cat is hunting....Trix has killed two bunnies in the field nearby....makes me sad!

My boy cats don't bother with such nonsense.

I've had a lot of fun on our Spring Break!

It's just so nice to be with my little family and do simple little things together.

We had a blast.....but...

My daughter can't wait to see her friends and I am looking forward to my work too.

I do!

I refuse to throw away these little gems of scrap fabric.

These are some of my wool pin patterns.

They are great for using up scraps.

Wool and felt have a magical quality.

I think it is the textrue and how it doesn't fray.

It is so easy to work with too.

The crazy cat pin above has been hugely popular....I think the face just makes people laugh.

Bunny cuteness.

These patterns came about when I was making hundreds to sell on ebay....way before etsy.

I thought...I can't keep making hundreds...I gotta make patterns for people to make their own.

 

I love the prim crow and strawberry in this one.

These are so easy to make while watching TV at night, going to a sporting event, sitting outside watching the kids....etc.

Halloween.....my fav!

These could be made into magnets or changed into needlepunch designs.

This pattern was in keepsake quilting catalog a while back.

This has always been a top seller.

I love the bunny with eggs the best.

 

Berries are fun to add to these...just french knots....so satisfying.

a little something for fall and Thanksgiving.

Patriotic....for Memorial day, Veteran's day, flag day, and fourth of July.

I can't forget Valentine's day...with lots of hearts.

Live...Courage...dream

These are words to live by!

I love putting banners on my projects...with glitter.

Here I have some fabric flowers....made from silk and satin.

I added leaves and a sweet banner on each.

They are available in my etsy shop called Mrs. Tiddlemouse.

They come on a tag like the one picture above.

We all need some courage from time to time....

Whether it is speaking in front of people, facing a disease, or getting a new job.

I chose red flowers for this one....it just goes with red so well.

I have a good time making my mannequin wear all my brooch's....she loves it!

I sell this large mannequin pattern in my etsy shop.

Here are all five in my shop.

I also have old bottles...I fixed up with some cool labels.

I just have soooo much stuff....I need to sell my treasures before the hoarders team shows up!

I am trying to part with things....it is hard...but necessary!

I just love old bottles....wondering what was there purpose long ago.

This lil girl above has put on her bunny suit...makes me think of Ralphie in a Christmas story.

I LOVE Halloween....it really is my favorite time of the year.

The skull candy container cracks me up.

I just drew from random thoughts...no real plan.

I am not the best dog drawer for some reason....but I thought this was funny.

This reminds me of my Sister Angie's dog...always licking her chops....so you can see a little tongue.

Witchy...she has poison in her pocket and a wand in one hand and a flying broomstick in the other.

a spider is in her hat brim....along for the ride.

I used to doodle on my pee chee or school folder...all the time....each one was covered.

I was sooooo bored in school.

Now I know all that doodling has been put to use....who knew I would be making art, designing patterns and sketching out embroidery designs.

I thought I would have to be a secretary (something I would have been not good at...being afraid to answer phones).

My mom was the perfect secretary....she had everything to a science.

My point is...you never know what you will be good at and how it will effect your future.

This cute kitten is sitting inside an umbrella....saying sweetly....April showers bring may flowers. What a fast, easy, and fun project to make for spring. The design can be made into this adorable patchwork pillow ...all the details are included in this pattern.

This is super darling in person. 

I don't like rain to much, but this design is sure to cheer you up!

This is the beginning of my daughters spring break and my husband took it off too.

There are so many things we need to get done, but we have to sneak some fun in too!

We saw the movie "Noah" last weekend...had fun , but to me the movie was nutty. 

I am a big Russel Crowe fan!

I just LOVE him in gladiator and Les Miserables.

I really can't wait to see the sleeping beauty bad queen Maleficent movie.....with Jolie.

This is my sister Julie's favorite Disney character.

Mine was ....of course....Cinderella ( my dad would call me Cinderella Dorothy Queen....all my favorites all in one!)

Here I am with my doll Rosie.  My hair was shiny strawberry blonde. 

This is before we lost everything is a house fire....thank-you cigarettes!

Cigarettes caused our house to burn down and also took my mother's life later at age 67.

I HATE them!

I really feel sorry for people who are addicted to them...it is soooo hard to break free.

Self-discipline

Hi...I made this sign to share with you!

I was inspired to make it....reading a Jo Packham article in the newest Where woman create business magazine.

She was saying how important it was to have self-discipline when being in business.

Running a business can sometimes be tricky and overwhelming.

I think I really needed this ...for my business and my life!

These were words she used to describe self-discipline....how awesome are they!

As I access my life ...I am going to go through the words...to see what I can do to make my plans and goals work.

Copy and paste....print off if you like.

I have one by my desk....for inspiration.

Hippity hoppity...Easter's on its way!!!

The Easter decor is up in my house....it was hard work!

Seems like I am constantly changing it.

I wanted to share my wacky Easter items with you.

Above is an Easter bunny.....crazy big guy straight from goodwill a few years ago.

I love the corny quality.

Here is my mantle in my living room.  I am using one of my banners that is on etsy.

Decorating my mantle is always my favorite thing to decorate.

I grew up in a large house with my brother and 3 sisters....my mom would always decorate her mantle...very sparsely however.  We just didn't have all the decorations like people have now.

Here is a chenille chick I used to make for craft shows.... a very long time ago when chenille was to die for.

Here is my new "Cute Chick" pillow next to a bunny I have had for years.

The pink bunny is a cotton ball dispenser...just grab his tail and use it to take off your nail polish....so clever.  I also love the power of compassion egg and die cut chick.

This is a large bunny head....next to a large grubby carrot...fun!

I made this years ago when the movie Jerry McGuire came out.  The saying that was so popular was ...Show me the money....I made it ....show me the bunnies.

I am sooooo corny.

I painted the wooden bunny with blue egg a long time ago...when I used to scroll saw stuff.

Kids in my family have always been fascinated by the pink egg shelf...I had to glue the items in place...because each kid wanted one of these little guys.  (plus they were always falling off)

My sunny kitchen window....lots of goodies nestled here.

I have needle felted eggs...and my new bunny make do....plus a Mary Englebreit tin filled with eggs and chicks.

Here is a little sign I made from an Easter picture of my family.

There were 4 girls....I am the little one.  Next to me is Angie, Julie and then Cecilia.

My mom made us the cutest dresses.  Sometimes my mom and me had matching dresses.

This is my new postcard that I shared with you earlier as a freebie....in my wire bunny with cool prim eggs.

These are my very prim Easter eggs...very much like my pattern.

I loved adding mica flakes and moss.

These have to be one of my all time favorites....yellow chicks....not my design....but boy did I make a ton of these!

I painted the colors on this stitchery...never made it into a pattern.

Cute hallmark bunny with those crazy cheap chicks you can get at craft stores.

I thought they were sweet together.
