I'm in PRIMS magazine...winter 2014

I love being PRIMs magazine again!  These magazines are full of info, ideas, inspiration, fun, and much much more.  All the Stampington magazines are a treasure to keep forever....more like books than magazines!

I have been in over 60 magazines ...I never get over the thrill to see my name in print.

You should try submitting your arts/crafts....the worst they can say is no....but it could be a YES!

I started my whole business by submitting an idea to Country marketplace....and then everything else...like designing my own patterns...came shortly after.

These mice are very naughty....but cute!

I share some tips in the magazine....the whole magazine is delightful...and is so inspiring.

They are always at crafts stores and Barnes and noble (my hangout!)

I made sooooo merry...that I forgot all about Freebie Friday.

I got a lovely gold Pontiac on Friday.....think that is why I was a twitter!

We had a fabulous time staying at home all day on Christmas....not going anywhere this year...yeah!!

Lots of nice gifts, eating lots of yummies, and staying in our jammies.

It was heaven!

Glittery art spool stands

I am pulling out the glitter again!

I wanted to make little stands for my artist's trading cards! 

These little pieces of art deserve some attention.....not to just be tucked away all the time!

Start out with empty spools and paper clips.

These are often at thrift stores and at antique stores in bags.

Collect up a variety of sizes.  Small paperclips seem to be a little too small.

Insert your paper clips and hot glue them in place.

Make sure the clip area is on top so you can put a card in it.

Get out your glitter, elmers glue, and paintbrush.

Apply a generous amount to the spool.

Sprinkle and shake off.

Pretty!

Let dry!

Here is my mom....I made her into a valentine.

I love these.  I am sure they could hold all kinds of things...like cards, display info at a craft show, placecards at a dinner table, alittle favorite saying to inspire you....etc....

I hope you glitter it up!

2014...here we come!

I am done with my Christmas shopping and we are all dying to open them!

But we have more Christmas movies to watch and general merry making to do...lol.

I just wanted to show you my "new" New Year's eve tags.

They are in my etsy shop...only $2.99.

You can print them off, add glitter and add some yarn and use them over and over. I drew each design with pen and ink. All 8 tags fit on one sheet.

These are sweet on champagne glasses, around the party table goodies, hanging on a tree, hanging on bottles, and fun on party hats.

Larger tags are 2 3/8" x 3 7/16", smaller tag are 3 1/2" x 1 1/2".
