Sleepy baby boy

Isn't he a cutie....so sleepy.
This would be adorable on a baby boy's pillow in the nursery.
Anyone having a baby boy?

I am on Instagram now...I would love it if you followed me!
I am alittle addicted to it because...I just love the visual of it...
so many great pictures....from whoever you like or want to follow.
It is really inspiring and gets your creative juices flowing.
These are a couple of pics I recently shared.
I never thought I would like another social media thing....but it is lots of fun!
------------------------------------------
I am going to be in the WSQ quilt show again!
Mark your calendar....if you live near Spokane Washington....it is a must see show!
October 16-18, 2015.
I just love this show...great quilts and really fun vendors....shopping is terrific! I here over and over how this show is as good as Quilt festival.
These are a few shots from my booth last year.
I try to fit about a million things in this space!
It is hard to set up but is ohhhh so worth it and I love meeting you gals!
Everytime I start chatting with a customer who has enjoyed my patterns....I just feel so warm and happy...totally makes me feel like I am on cloud nine.
Just seeing these pictures makes me want the show sooner....dang!
Gotta wait!
By the way....My cat Froy is now fully recovered from his absess from a cat fight.
It looked pretty awful when I got him home from the vets....all I can say is he looked like he was a soldier from "Saving Private Ryan" :(
He is back to his snooty self.

Happy Weekend to you!!

Come to the Pin me Linky party!  Come to the Party Bunch!  Come to thrifty Thursday!

Vintage Valentine in black and white

I love vintage valentines....here are some from a very old magazine I have...I wanted to share with you the wonderful drawings.  It is a style that is so much fun and so different than todays.

Love the part stick figures of these.  They seem to be going to school with their Valentines.

and its slippery too! These would be fun to practice drawing ... using this as inspiration.

Hokey craft alert!!
Remember making some funny things in grade school with construction paper, tissue paper scrunches with a pencil and glue, and of course cutting and gluing!

Sweet music....I can't play but I wonder how this sounds.
My mom could play anything....but she didn't give the gift to anyone.  Maybe a future generation will be as talented as she was.

This is soooo sweet!  I love it!
It brings back the tender feeling of young love.

Hope you liked these
Have a wonderful day!

Happy Easter vintage postcard- boy with eggs

This is as sweet as can be!
I got this vintage postcard on my thrifting expedition last Saturday.
It is from 1915...99 years old at least....printed in Germany.
Just think...this was before World War one!
So much happens in 100 years!
Here is the back.
I love how simple the address was, how it cost 1 cent to mail, and how usually this kind of correspondence has doom and gloom in it.  Someone is bad off, weather is bad,  how much coal was used...lol.
I am just glad to be living now!
I know it had to be super tough....I hope they had a good life.
----------------------------------------------
My new pattern is ready....
It's called
Cute Chick Easter egg Pattern
This sweet lil cute chick is celebrating spring by bringing you a lovely daffodil! What a fast, easy, and fun design to make. The design can be made into this adorable egg shape pillow with rick rack trim...all the details are included in this pattern. Special aging and depth tips included. It makes a great pillow tuck set amongst your decor, primitive pin keep, framed up, or as a doll pillow. You could make this into a candle/table mat as well.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There will never be another today...make the most of it!

Come to the pin me linky party, the party bunch, and the Fancy this Friday!

Yep...this boy has been looking for a gift for Mom and finally found the right gift....
he went straight to the dollar store and bought mom some goodies.....lol.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I love the dollar store...just spent 32 bucks there.
They have some super cool Christmas goodies...perfect for crafting and making lots of cool sellable items.
I also love these plastic bins they have.

Watcha doing this labor day weekend?

Hey....beautiful weather here in Eastern Washington.
Watcha doing this Labor day weekend?
So far we have been doing some tasks around the house....taking walks....making smores in our fire pit....going out to eat.

We used to go camping every labor day(the whole big family together)....but things have changed...most of the kids have grown up and moved away....kinda sad when things change.
My daughter will soon be Sweet sixteen (she is the youngest cousin) and I have been planning all that.
I thought you would enjoy this boy fishing.....getting a nibble.
It is from an old coloring book.
We always could catch fish on Labor day weekend....so relaxing....especially with a drink.

Have a great rest of the Weekend!!!

It's not how much you have

True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so wants nothing. The greatest blessings of mankind are within us and within our reach. A wise man is content with his lot, whatever it may be, without wishing for what he has not.

My husband and brother-in-law are putting a new roof for my studio...they are working sooo hard and I am thrilled.
I will take pics of my studio when everything is moved and ready....can't wait!
