Vintage Valentine in black and white

I love vintage valentines....here are some from a very old magazine I have...I wanted to share with you the wonderful drawings.  It is a style that is so much fun and so different than todays.

Love the part stick figures of these.  They seem to be going to school with their Valentines.

and its slippery too! These would be fun to practice drawing ... using this as inspiration.

Hokey craft alert!!
Remember making some funny things in grade school with construction paper, tissue paper scrunches with a pencil and glue, and of course cutting and gluing!

Sweet music....I can't play but I wonder how this sounds.
My mom could play anything....but she didn't give the gift to anyone.  Maybe a future generation will be as talented as she was.

This is soooo sweet!  I love it!
It brings back the tender feeling of young love.

Hope you liked these
Have a wonderful day!

All I need to get back in time....

All I need to go back in time....are my record albums!!!
My mom has been gone for 15 years now...I miss her so much...to get a little bit of her back...I play my old albums.  We grew up playing these in our house...over and over.  The cover at the top was my all time favorite album...loved it!!
I grew up in the 70's....wow is life different now.

WE loved the carpenters...her voice was amazing!
Just hearing it gives me an instant great feeling.
My sister Angie hates "Merry Christmas darling" ...so I sneak it in on her to get her...lol.

This one was my brothers...mom didn't care for it , but it is funny.
Nothing groovier than this one....they still are hip

Ok...anything Johnny sings is magic!

Christmas album,

Angie loved Amy and then I hated to admit...she was right!
WE had this....it was before the day of video tape....the album basically was the whole show on record...it was still fun.

Gonna miss Andy....he passed away this year.  We used to watch his Christmas specials.
Now days we watch Michael Buble.

I loved these because there was a good variety of stars singing.  Barbara Streisand is at the top with black hair...strange.

I thought this angel was pretty amazing....so gold.

I also just loved this one....it was so cool all the pictures on these candles.
It is funny what stays in our memories.
Music is special and I love the beautiful memories...it is priceless.

Inspirational Flash cards

You are probably thinking...doens't this gal ever stop making flash cards?  Nope!  I just love them!  I have made some inspirational ones....cause I like to be inspired all day long.
This saying is right by my table that I do alot of paper crafting.  These flash cards are terrific just framed up with some old music paper background.  Old music can be found at thrift stores really inexpensively.
I love a simple statement....it goes a long way!
This set of flash cards (15) are available on my etsy....just $3.69...sent in an email to you...u print.  So easy!  I had these at my last show....so popular!  Will this be the last of my flash cards?  I don't think so.....lol.

Auld Land Syne- old long since

This is a scan you can use from an extremely old source...use it for your own personal use....click on it to get the larger size and save a copy for yourself. I think it would be a lovely background for some New Years artist trading cards! I love Scottish things....cause my dad comes from Scotland. Auld Lang Syne means old long since. Here in Spokane Washington it is a whopping 18 degrees as a high. I went outside briefly and then got my tail right back inside....I am glad I am an artist instead of a mailman(I was once) today. Stay warm today and have a cup of cocoa...I had mine with lots of marshmellows.
