This is a sweet lil vintage design....it reminds me of tots in toyland...an old movie with Laurel and Hardy.  I might have the name a little wrong.  This girl has broken the string on her toy duck, she is just shocked.  I say just tie a knot in the string and keep running.

French Country burplap ornaments



I am still sick with the dreaded cold....that seems to never end by the way!

I did however complete this simple yet pretty pattern for these french burlap ornies.

These are fun to make.

They are easy, fast, and make great gifts. This is so simple, sweet, and natural.....use burlap or tweed....make a set in no time! There are 9 designs included in the pattern....Snowman, holly, snowflake, bird, tree, hearts, stars, bell, and candy cane.

Use these ornaments for a gift tucked in a card, hang them around your decor, on the tree, as package toppers, and as a table setting gift.

Sweet Gingermelon!

Above is the Mohair animals pattern...the picture is my finished lil bear.  The pattern has other animals in it too.  I just tried the pattern with some fur I had....now I need to get some mohair.

Good Morning!  My daughter and I have been sick for days...one of the worst colds we have ever had.....can't wait for my husband to get it :(

This was a barn near Spangle....it fell down recently.

This door knob is to a little shed in our back yard....aged to perfection.

I photograph some of my pattern covers on this door.

She just has a normal lil camera, but she has an eye for it!

We took a walk when the fall leaves were at their prime....this church is gorgeous.

I love aged wood, so pretty and natural. 

She has lots of prints for sale and really pretty hairclips that are her own design.

Oh Christmas Tree- Freebie Friday

Oh yeah...it's freebie Friday!

I was really influenced by "A Charlie Brown's Christmas" when I drew this tree.....ya know when they had the Christmas tree lot....with all the aluminum and fake trees....as a kid I thought they looked great too....I was kind of on Lucy's side with this.

So this year I did a crazy thing!  I bought a white tree with multi colored lights.....boy is it different and pretty.  Even my husband loves it!

I know this coming year I am going to be less of a "pleaser" and do more of what I really want to do!  I am coming to realize everyone else is doing what they want at all times...so why not me too.  I still want to be kind, but think of my core family first always.  I have always tried to not step on toes...do what I think others think I should do (way to much!)...etc... 

I will be making bold choices, no regrets. (it will be hard at first!)

What changes are you going to make...I would love to know what you think.
