Prancing lamb freebie

Spring means babies!
Like this little lamb...frolicking about.
One of my favorite shows to watch with my cat (yes I said it)...is the show "Too cute".
It is usually kittens or dogs from birth to when they can be adopted.
My cat trix watches it intently...she can't keep her eyes off that show.
It cracks me up!
This freebie could be a tag on a baby shower gift.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I got this sweet vintage quilt at an antique show last weekend.
It was.....$15!
It will be perfect for displays like at the quilt show or folded on a shelf....for cuteness.
It has a few spots....but I like it so much!
I am not sure what the quilt block is?  It is very interesting.
These are an antique store find...only a few bucks for these 12 paper pieced squares...so cute!
All the months are represented.
I was a Hallmark junkie growing up....I always had to get stickers or hello kitty stuff...and also stuff with Miss Piggy.  Hallmark was my dream place.
I found this little book from Hallmark...so darned cute!!!
I love that style that was so popular in the 70's!!!
Can this scarecrow be any cuter?
Yellow is a dominant color in this book...very sunny!
I got some awesome Halloween fabric at a thrift store.
Also a vintage embroidery hoop with a holder.
Pretty crafty!
Only $2.69.
I wonder why that was the magic number for the hoop?
Ok....at the antique show...I found these super creepy puppets!!!
They are pretty old and interesting to look at.
The black dressed one is going right in my scary section of Halloween decorating...lol.
They cost me a dollar each.
My panda now has a bib!
What a sweet doll bib...embroidered and it has a crochet trim. 2 dollars.
I wanted this small drawer for buttons.
White buttons are my favorite...they go with everything!!!
Have a Happy
Weekend!!

Happy Pumpkin Spice Season

Yep...It's that time of year...
Where everyone wants food or drink in pumpkin spice flavor!
I just had some pumpkin spice donuts!
Above is my Brand new sign!
It is an instant download PDF...so you get the file immediately and can print on your own printer in seconds.  It is only $5.99.
I always get frames at thrift stores and dollar stores when I am there...it is so inexpensive that way.
Plus other stores sell fancier frames for a bit more.
This sign would look great in the kitchen or a bakery or coffee shop.
Plus it is perfect all fall...not just Halloween.
Trix decided I needed to showcase her alittle.
She thinks the table is her playground.
By the way ...I found some baby pics of trix and lucky...trix is on the left...lucky is the face on the right.
Now that Trix is well from a recent sickness...now Lucky is under the weather....they are gonna be the death of me.
My daughter and her boyfriend went to a farm and got these tiny pumpkins...so I set them near this couple.  The hat he is wearing is a weekend treasure I got.
I also got this cool paper hat....it is so delicate.
Plus I got these small (about 5") diecuts...I didn't have them in my collection yet.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Well my daughter and I are getting ready for The big quilt show (WSQ) and filling out orders from Checker and online sales....so we have been working tons.
I haven't gotten all the things done that I wanted to....but that happens every year...so what else is new...lol.
This is a pic from my booth...many years ago... I have had sooo much fun at these.
Love it!

Little things to make it all easier

It's a lovely fall day today.
Leaves are falling like snow.
I have been using a lot of little gadgets to make life easier around here.
They all come from Deflecto!
Above is their chalk board sign....normally in rectangles....I cut this one with scissors..into a sweet leave.
With their chalk paint pen (which is erasable with water)....I scribbled on "Give Thanks" and added some dots!
They would make great Thanksgiving day place cards for your dinner guests.
Here are some clear pockets and a pear clip...perfect to store some of my Christmas ACEO's.

This makes it protected, yet easy to see and find!

On the opposite side of my red and green ACEO...I put my blue wintery ACEO's.
So much fun!

I made these using old photos, pretty papers, and printed out words and phrases.

Here is a plastic chalk board sign....I just wrote out my favorite saying...."Once begun is half done"..... and then added flowers, squiggles and dots with the chalk paint pen.
This saying really motivates me to just get going.

I love tags....I can't stop making them and collecting them.
I just string them onto a pear clip from Deflecto and they are all together.
They stay organized and nice this way.

So sweet this way!
I have also been using the pear clip for clipping together my patterns....you could clip your collection together!  They are easy to hang on a peg this way.

These gadgets are so handy!

I have a fondness for all things French....here I used the sign holder and made a sweet little piece of art...Marie Antoinette with a glittery muslin banner saying "Dream it".

Here is a side view.  It is plastic and easily holds small signs and paper.

I made a sign for my dishwasher....It stays on with the magnetic clamp.
The sign was fun to make.

I am always wondering if the dishes are clean or not.

See how this works....very handy.

Here are a few pics from my recent Quilt show .
It was so hard to fit all my samples and patterns into my booth.
These clamps worked great to hang up unusual items.
It made it alot easier.
Also at the Washington state quilt show...I used the double clamps to hold a sample (A Happy New Year door hanger) and a pattern on top of a turn style.

People could really see everything well.
The magnetic clamp was so handy on my metal cabinet I brought to the quilt show. It helped hold small quilts....to sort of fill a hole in my display.
I hung my "She lingers in the garden" quilt with the clamps and had the pattern nearby using the magnetic clamp. It is really hard to pack so many samples and patterns in one booth, but the Deflecto products made it much easier.
So I have been a busy girl.
Now .....I need to finish up a cool Thanksgiving ornament pattern.
So much to do!!
