Superbowl Sunday!

It's Superbowl Sunday once more
Gotta say....GO SEAHAWKS!
Above and below are some new pictures from my daughter Selina.
We live in Spokane Washington....home of Expo 74.
The smallest city to have ever hosted a world's fair!
This is the clock tower...a wonderful part of the riverfront park we have...a huge park right in our downtown...with roaring falls all over!
They lit up the clock tower with the Seahawks emblem.
We had to go at night and see it!
She added special effects....all of these are in her Etsy shop...Peacock Gumdrop!
My daughter is a junior in high school, 17 years old.
We are always shocked however when we go out...they are always trying to put us in the bar section....I keep saying she is not old enough.
This is perfect for the Seahawk fans out there.
Also ...another huge site in the city is this extremely tall set of towers....which were colored with lights...for the seahawks.
There are 12th man flags everywhere...people dressed form head to toe in Seahawks merchandise.

Like my hubby...lol
He has his shirt, hat and candy.

He loves his new shirt....and plans to buy more Superbowl gear after we win.

He was cracking jokes while I took this pic....I will not tell you what he said...bad boy!
Have a good Sunday and I hope you have fun...no matter what you do.

Come to Thrifty Thursday!  Come to the Pin me linky Party!  Come to the Party Bunch!

My hubby in 1st grade

Had to share this super cute pic of my hubby...when he was just a lil 1st grader!  My mother-in-law and sister-in-law are going through old boxes and found some old pics...so much fun to see them.
He still has this naughty smile and big brown eyes!

Love this inspirational quote:
Finding happiness should not be seen as finding a needle in a haystack. Happiness is within. Each day is a blessing that brings an abundance of happiness. Therefore, finding happiness should be like finding a gift in a stack of gifts.

Spokane...spring break part 2

Here is Mr. Seagull....he wants some fries I think...lol.  I like Seagulls for some reason.

Quack...our river has so many beautiful birds.

BFF's....totally

This is a fabulous bench...it is a piece of art.

Here is the pony on top of the carousel.
These pod things were cool in this tree....I am sure many of you know what kind of tree this is.

I like old buildings and all these fire escapes

Selina and Einstein...he he he.

Dana and Selina.....ready for their Red Robin meal.

Our power company here in Spokane....once called Washington Water Power....cool old building
This is a shot of the water just above where the water drops off making a huge fall.

It was truly frightening to stand here....the pic doesn't do it justice....the water was rough and tons coming over the edges.

The spray came up and gotch ya.

The Monroe street bridge.

This was also scary....good thing everything is safe here.

Our park has so many bridges to cross the Spokane river

Selina had so much fun...she took great pics.

I wanted to throw a beach ball in and see what would happen.
Down below the Monroe street bridge....we got drenched from spray....we hiked all up and down ....and we had nice weather too.

Thanks Dana

Here is my husband Dana, being silly at the cabin.  I told him to make a pose for the camera and this is what he does.....lol.  Right now he is helping my daughter paint her bedroom....something I was dreading....so he suggested I go work or craft it up(same thing) ....and I said ....OH YEAH!!!
My husband is a treasure in many ways.  He loves to cook and organize......but also loves to watch Mariners baseball and other sports like the Zags.  He works hard everyday and always kills a spider for me.  He is fun to be with and he is my best friend....he can get grumpy, but he has never yelled at me and always treats me like a queen.  So ....Thanks Dana.....Love you!

Growing up!

Here is my daughter Selina 3 years ago with her sister- Trix (tricks or treats is her nickname).  They love each other so much!  The cats love it when she plays outside...they play too.

Now Selina is growing up!! Here she is with her daddy and my hubby- Dana....at greenbluff.....where it is a madhouse this month.  Everyone and their brother must be up there each weekend!  She likes more grownup things now, but still loves to play with her cats.  Her middle school softball team won the tournament!!
