What I'm working on and more scores!

My daughter and I having been doing alot of thrift shopping this summer...
it is the thrill of the hunt!
I recently got punch needle thread.
Two huge bags for 5.99....because they were half off!
Now I have tons of thread and this new big oblong basket.
I love the grab bag full of stuff...lots of goodies....some you can't see until you get home.
Only 4.99 ....sulky thread too.
Love the frog buttons!
This will make a cute display shelf...but I am going to paint it first.
Lots of paper stuff...still in the packages....crazy!
Even crocheted flowers and cute stamped canvas.
I got another mannequin....since my daughter took over "Flo".
I will name this later.....but it is MINE!
This is my child's cabinet...I am playing around filling it will special fat quarters and jelly rolls.

Now I can see my treasures better.
My dollies...aren't they cute!
This is what I am working on....the stitching is done,..now I am going to add to it.
This is a sneaky peak of my next pattern....
Halloween ornaments.

So much to do...so little time.

Friendship freebie!

Today I am celebrating friendship!
I love my friends and I really appreciate each one....there is nothing like a kind word when you are feeling low.
Friends make us laugh, help us get through life, and show us a different point of view!
This would make a sweet tag for a gift or fun insert in a card.
Plus it would be great to stitch up and frame it.

*Please note that all freebies are for you to use to make finished goods (no mass producing) and gifts...they are still legally my designs.
---------------------------------------------
Last week I was in Seattle...had lots of fun.
I thought I would share a few pics with you!
Above is the city skyline as we just got on a ferry to Bainbridge island.
Pikes place market!
The smells are terrific.
Even the fish are cool.
One place throws the fish around...the crowd always loves it.
My hubby and daughter in the Space needle dinning area.
While you eat...all the tables go around very slowly...so you get to see all around the city ...so cool!

I love the space needle....it doesn't matter how many times I see it....it is just great!
I was at an antique mall....and just loved this display of spools!
They were expensive...so I just took a pic...lol.

It is super hot again here....time to hit the pool!
Have a great weekend!

Recently I went to Seattle and tried to find some quilt shops along the way....it was great!
Above is a cute dish towel from a shop on Bainbridge island.
They made it into the cutest pillow...which I want to do too!
Kitties reading!!!
I love the whimsical drawings...so much to see.
I like to buy fabric that is unusual.
Unicorns!
When I was a teen....I loved unicorns....this one brings back some fun memories.
I love any fabric with a sewing theme!
Mice!
So sweet!

This is a charm pack...I can't resist these....especially if they have a fall theme.
Cori Dantini fabric!
All with a crafty sewing theme.
I love her work and have several of her prints...she is from Washington too!
I met her several times....and she is so sweet and kind.
Very happy with picking up some of this!!

Great cat!
I love the crow....so cool.
I don't have a plan for these yet....but they main thing is I got them when I could!
I love the woman in the corner.
This is so orange...love it.
This would be great to fussy cut a particular image for a project.
Great details.
This makes me want to make a quilt now.
This is just lovely in person
The layering is terrific
I hope you enjoyed seeing these....
I hope you get to a quilt shop and see what might interest you for a project.
I used to think....I have tons of fabric and don't need one more.
But sometimes a few new pieces will really inspire you!

Japanese dollar store goodies

I recently went to Seattle for a vacation and knew I was going to find the Japanese dollar store there.
The Daiso japan store is located at the Westlake mall where the monorail is.
It was so much fun...full of unusual items....but I loved all the crafty goodness!
Variegated embroidery floss...1.50 for the pack. I love how it is so cutely packaged.
Almost everything in the store is $1.50
Threads....of all colors!
Page markers...I got some cute ones...my daughter chose teddy bears.
Fun wrapping paper.
A thick drawing tablet...perfect to sketch ideas!
Washi tape!
Lots of fun papers....and I could have spent alot longer there....but my families patience was wearing thin....lol.
-----------------------------------------
I found this cool purse on Bainbridge island.
I love what it says too... Love who you are.
Isn't the artwork lovely!!
So darned cool!
I may put some art supplies in it...for when I go to my sister's house to draw and watercolor.
------------------------------------------
Later this week I will show you my fabric finds....I am so happy with them!
