Spring break...goodies

Hey everyone!

This is our Spring break this week!

Of course...I have already went shopping at some fav stores!

Above is the cutest re-purposed bunnies ever...I fell in love with them both!

My daughter bought me this wood united states...I can't wait to paint it...I will show you the finished look later. 

I love this derpy pony... it was at a crazy yet fun store called Octopus Garden. 

A vintage Easter bunny...one dollar! 

Retro cool Santa book...looks like something my mom would have got me...super bright! 

I love cute....and this is soooo me!

It is chuck full of cute goodness! 

The VW van I can afford....lol. I don't know what I will do with it yet, but I am sure it will be handy. 

I got a sweet Home sweet home sign... 

each house attaches to the other.. 

I thought it was a steal...at 5 dollars. 

My daughter Selina is now making hexie earrings!  This is a pair for herself.

I want to get a pic of her wearing them.

I love picking out the fabric for these....so many choices in my hoard of fabric.

This is a screen shot of a sign I am working on...it uses my repeating patterns and a drawing I did a while back.

I love the soft colors.

I had to go to the my fav place again today...the dentist...

I might as well live there!

I think the rest of spring break will be better!

My Corny Christmas!

I have collected lots of corny yet cute Christmas decorations throughout the years...I love the Kitsch.

I guess they remind me of the early 70's when I was a kid! 

This is my set up of pinks and blues...very corny indeed...I love every piece! 

Including my new mousey that came in a pack of random ornaments from Goodwill. 

This tree made from wood came from a local craft show...so pretty! 

I love angels made with wire and stretched tulle.

My heart goes out to Charlie Brown and his gang!

If you have not seen the new movie...you should...it is great!

Sometimes it takes awhile to put up your goodies...but it is worth it. 

We had very little holiday decor when growing up....but this Santa music box was a favorite...you pull him and he skis up the roof to the chimney!

Lately....summer has taken over everything!

I swear there are so many things to get done...I can't keep up.

It should be the Lazy crazy days of summer!

I just scheduled senior pics for my daughter, getting a will to protect my daughter, new carpet, and many other tasks that needed to be taken care of.

Little things consume my time too...

I moved my German clock to my office and this is where it truly belongs... 

It finally has the right place in my house. 

I found these cute stackable containers at hallmark.

I was a big Miss Piggy fan when I was a kid.

I love the romance they had. 

I recently found this gem at an antique store for 6 dollars!

I had this Barbie as a kid...it was my favorite!!!

She is missing the cape and flowers....but she is pretty darned cute. 

I spent countless hours playing with barbies....I was not a baby doll fan.

This doll is from the 70's....when Miss America was very popular. 

This is a funny shelf in my office...full of silliness.

Grumpy cat, planet of the apes, VW buses and a pretty pony unicorn.

I also found this animal rummy game for 2 dollars. 

My daughter was shocked seeing this one...she thought it was rude....I told her "Gay" used to mean happy.

The cards are really cute.

I used to be called Squirrelly instead of Shirley....so I have lots of squirrel knick knacks.

Soon I will be able to share what goodies I am working on....there is just never enough time!
