new MERMAID

My new pattern is ready!
The Merry Mermaid embroidery mini quilt pattern # 371
This sweet design is sure to please and it's quick to stitch!
Make the design into a small quilt or a pillow! This is such a charming embroidery quilt wall hanging....so quick, easy and fun to do. This is so lovely in your summer home decor, in your daughter's room or at your lake house. This could easily be made into a pillow.
Quilt measures: 12" tall x 14" wide
Embroidery design measures: 6 3/4" tall x 6 1/8"
There are easy to follow diagrams in the pattern too!
-----------------------------------------------------------
This is my soon to be graduate. Selina will finish high school very soon!
These are just some of her designs!
She has lots of blanks ...for you to fill and lots of finished items too.
You can make 3 sets...to match an outfit, to show off your embroidery (the set comes with the flower embroidery pattern design) or pop in your favorite fabric.
We were both featured on the Checker distributor blog recently!
her mini hoops and my pattern that has designs for her mini hoops.
It is the perfect summer project!
This is my pattern...with 12 designs to go in the mini hoops.
I tried to come up with as many different designs as I could...to please everyone.
This video Selina did...shows how easy it is to use the mini hoops!
It's only 2 1/2 minutes long.

Happy Friday!

Proud moments!

This is my daughter Selina...almost a High school Graduate....about a month left!
She has been doing so well in her new business of laser cut pendants, brooches, blanks and more.
She has just had her products featured on embroidery.about.com....by the wonderful Mollie Johanson of Wild Olive!!!! We are over the moon with happiness!!! Come check it out!!!
This is her Owl pendant blank....you can fill the circles with fabric or embroidery.
Here she is modeling one of her necklaces.
The owl looks cute just with fabric.
and this is her bird brooch blank.
She makes all kinds of hexies too....for necklaces and rings.
I love the Halloween!!!
She just recently started a blog too!!!
She also has a distributor....Checker!
She started this in January of this year.... and things are a bit overwhelming for her....but I help!
She has a whole notebook full of more ideas...some ideas incorporate some of my designs...can't wait to share them with you!
She will soon have the hexie earring blanks too....she is modeling her ones...she is keeping these.
Sooo sweet!

I had to share my pride with you....hopefully you are not sick of my mentioning this...I just can't believe how things are working out!!!!
Her Grandma Betty and Great Grandma Shirley would be soooo proud too....guess they are watching over her in heaven!

Spring break...goodies

Hey everyone!
This is our Spring break this week!
Of course...I have already went shopping at some fav stores!
Above is the cutest re-purposed bunnies ever...I fell in love with them both!
My daughter bought me this wood united states...I can't wait to paint it...I will show you the finished look later.
I love this derpy pony... it was at a crazy yet fun store called Octopus Garden.
A vintage Easter bunny...one dollar!
Retro cool Santa book...looks like something my mom would have got me...super bright!
I love cute....and this is soooo me!
It is chuck full of cute goodness!
The VW van I can afford....lol. I don't know what I will do with it yet, but I am sure it will be handy.
I got a sweet Home sweet home sign...
each house attaches to the other..
I thought it was a steal...at 5 dollars.
My daughter Selina is now making hexie earrings!  This is a pair for herself.

I want to get a pic of her wearing them.
More rings with the tiny hexies
I love picking out the fabric for these....so many choices in my hoard of fabric.

This is a screen shot of a sign I am working on...it uses my repeating patterns and a drawing I did a while back.
I love the soft colors.

I had to go to the my fav place again today...the dentist...
I might as well live there!

I think the rest of spring break will be better!
