Every Ending....freebie design

Happy Fri-yay!
This is the beginning of our Spring Break!
Woot Woot!
I have been looking forward to it...I love family time!
well...I believe winter has ended and this new beginning of spring is a great change!
This freebie would be great as some inspiration on your fridge!

*Please note that all freebies are for you to use to make a couple finished goods (no mass producing) and a couple gifts...they are still legally my designs.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yay---
April!
Watch out for April fools jokes....my sister tries it every year.
--------------------------------------------
This is my daughter Selina....and her laser cutter/engraver machine!
She designs them on the computer first however.
I cleared out a space for her in my studio...it has a blower and it really clean!
I am so happy she has started this business...it is a little difficult since she is doing a lot of things for high school graduation.
I always knew she was creative and was always thinking of cool projects.
She used to make duct tape dresses...paper ones too...can draw and shade beautifully....plus she is a great photographer.  she has many talents.

I am in love with the hexie rings right now...I just pop some cool fabric in it and it is so fast!!!
These will be at Checkers at Spring quilt market!
----------------------------------------------------------
Finally...something to make you
LAUGH!

Have a great weekend!

Harmony...fabric designs

Hello friends!
I just wanted to show you a peek at my two fabric collections...Summer Harmony and Spring Harmony!
Above I made a hexie flower from some of the repeating designs.

Summer harmony is sunny and bright!
Almost like a lemonaid stand with cherries in the drinks.
I drew all the designs first in my sketch book...then added them into the computer.
I then illustrated them and lastly made repeating designs with them.
These can be more than fabric...they can be a shower curtain, pillows, notebooks, stationary, a bedspread...and so on.
They can even be wallpaper.
In designing you also need some simple designs....because not every fabric can be the star.
This makes them go together better.
I can also change how big and how small the designs can be....very easily.

**Just a note:  I don't want to be rude....but these are not freebies...they are my designs...and mine alone.  I can't allow you to use these in any form.  I had a few people think that they could have my surface patterns to use.  This is why I am explaining it....because I really want to show you what I am working on.
I always give a freebie on Friday and they are usually my sketches/doodles or a vintage postcard.

This is Spring Harmony!
I love hexies....lol...I am addicted to them.

Here is a peek at this set of designs.
The pink main design is my very favorite.
This makes me think of cherry blossoms blooming and all the plants coming to life!
This one reminds me of buttercups!
My purple here is very much like a wallpaper I had in my kitchen....it was 4 layers down underneath others.  It was a dark green with motifs kinda like these....very cool.
My daughter Selina has more products in her etsy shop and through Checker Distributor.
We made this package cover recently for her 3 pack mini hexie ring blanks.  It comes with the heart flower pattern design.
These rings are addicting to make...most of the time I simply put cute fabric in them...which takes seconds...and then viola....
so easy!
This is her mini hexie pendant blanks package cover....it comes with the bunny embroidery design.
I am always getting into her stash for these.
I can never get the mini hoops for myself anymore...they sell out before I can grab some!
and lastly ... this is her Tags pendant blanks.
It comes with the kitty cat love embroidery design.

Oh boy...gotta go to dentist yet again...fixing my bite...sounds fun huh!
Oh well....another of life's tasks.

Cute chicks...mushrooms and more

Happy Monday to you!
I just decorated for Easter in my home...it was quite the job....so I decided to limit myself alittle.
If you are looking for Spring and Easter projects...I have lots that are fun and easy.
The cute chick above has the sweetest rick rack trim around the edges.

This wool bunny is a perfect treat holder or sewing box.
This collage of Easter goodies is full of tempting projects...all in my Etsy shop.

Easter ornaments...that have the artwork in the pattern.
Lil Easter bunny embroidery...this sweet girl is in full bunny costume!

Do you Instagram?
My name is: Hudsons_Holidays
I love sharing pics and inspiration there.
I remember that saying from Grade school.
Remember making sheep...with cotton balls glued on a paper?

Bunny tags with my collection of old photos....just download and print.

Here comes Peter Cottontail...I loved the animated/claymation  TV show about this when I was a kid....I was thrilled with it and all the cool holiday they traveled to.
I watched it with my daughter over and over too.

I love the brightness of the yellow!
I wanted to show you some cool mushrooms I bought from my friend Sue from her craft show booth this past weekend....so cute!
I just clipped them into my branch of eggs...perfect for my table.
Hope the cats stay away.
My daughter and I went to hobby lobby...we got this cool wooden tree to display her pendants on.
I love it...it even fits her rings on it.
She has finished pendants and rings as well as blanks to make your own.
I better get back to stitching...Why am I always behind?
I will never learn to get things done sooner!
