Quilt Market- Portland Oregon

This is out booth at Quilt market!
It was soooo much work.....but so worth it!
This is how it started.
You can't pin your things on the drapes so we had to build our own panels.

Towards the end of the day we had to set up our sample spree table.

This is a giant room full of tables...you get to sell your wares for a few hours before market opens.
Selina is standing by our table....which was next to Moda.

and behind us was Kathy Schmitz!
She is so nice!
We put our banner in the center back.  I designed it on adobe illustrator and then out it into vista print...so easy and not very expensive.
We had Selina's samples in colorful hoops

We had lots of her hexie rings.

mini hoops!

These are selina's packs ....all lined up!

I brought a lot of Halloween ....my favorite.

My metal mannequin was great for display.

Halloween corsages.

Selina loved adding her products to the hoops ... to showcase them

I thought it was a great idea.

Her products were very popular,  lots of sales and orders.

This pumpkin guy is a sweetie.

People loved seeing that these could be painted with watercolor paints.

Wizard of oz fabric added to Selina's tv brooch.

Selina on Sunday....ready to pack up!
We have been on the go for over a week....non stop work....I'm exhausted and really need some R and R.  Hoping things calm down soon.

May....day calendar freebie

It's May.....day!
I made another set of phone/tablet calendar wallpapers and desktop for the computer...
for MAY....and it's free.
These are my very simple teal flowers....a fun repeating pattern design.
I really enjoy playing with color combinations and since this is usually not my kind of colors...it was fun!
Just save and set as your desktop wallpaper.
The solid blue on the left side is perfect so you can still see your desktop icons.

International quilt market is coming very soon now!

We are working hard getting ready for it...seems like there is always more to do.

One of the hardest things I have left is clothes shopping...I just don't like it.
We will be sure to take plenty of pics and videos.

Happy May to you!

Going to market....spring quilt market

We have our booth number for International Quilt market...it is #1227.
Spring market is in Portland Oregon
May 18-20.
We are also participating in Sample spree. May 17
Sample spree is where shops can get products in hand...and finished goods as well.

Quilt market is not open to the public....it is for businesses, quilt shops, companies to interact.  If you are attending...please stop by and say hello!!
Quilt festival is open to the public.
I am excited to partnered up with my one and only sweet daughter Selina!
We work together every day...and luckily we get along like peas and carrots!

We have lots more work to do yet, some we have to keep quiet about until later....wish I could share now!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
On another note...looks at some goodies I recently got...

Cute lil easter ornaments to hang on my tree.
A large tin sign....so retro cute!
A pink bunny vase.  These items were from the Two women antique store.

This vintage honeycomb is from a yard sale last year...I finally got it out and it is so cool...lots of honey comb elements in one.

Even the eggs stretch out!
I love yard sales!

This cool wood heart came from a place called paint in your hair.
I love how my daughter pendants look displayed on it!
------------------------------------------------------------
Selina is having a spring sale in her etsy shop....
She has her finished items in a variety of styles....
Lots of packages of her blanks to put your embroidery, cross stitch or pretty fabric in....
Her she is with her laser.
She first has to design...on the computer, test things out, cut, and perfect them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is my sale pattern of the week:
Raggedy Ann is one of 3 designs in this pattern.
Perfect little bunny to add to a basket!

3 super fast & easy to stitch up designs...make Raggedy Ann with bunny into a pillow,"spring" posy pocket on a heart that can hold a treat or flowers,& a Bunny wool rug that decorates a basket front!

Raggedy Ann & Bunny pillow measures: 6 " x 7 1/4 ". "Spring" heart measures: 7 1/2" x 9 " not including hanger. Bunny wool rug- on basket measures: 4" x 5".
This heart pocket design is easy!

My booth at the Washington state quilt show

Last weekend was the Spokane Washington state quilt show!
I had my same booth in the corner.....above is a wide shot of it.
We had a great show and I want to share some pictures on it!
Let me tell you....setup is hard...because I always have to get sooo much into a small spot.
I used old screen doors for display.....my prim flag, smile pillow and Christmas poem stitchery.
Here is another side shot...I think by clicking on these pictures you may see it larger.
I grouped my Halloween projects together.  I have quite the collection.
I always bring my wool pin patterns.....these are great for using up small scraps of wool and felt.
At the top left is the Witch's stocking....it is what you might give a witch for great spookiness ....on halloween night as her gift....lol
I had patterns for wallhangings, ornaments, pillows and more!
Here are my sweet snowmen and the "Where the tree top glistens" ornaments...my design that is on the cover of the Somerset Holidays and celebrations.
See how every inch is needed..lol
I try to have most my samples for my patterns on display.
Chicks in an egg and  kitty dresdan plate pillow and lots of projects for wool.
I love all the holidays, as you probably already know.....valentines, Easter, and christmas...oh my!!!
I brought my daughter's bench to put on my table for extra space for halloween decor.
My ghost....he has been to alot of shows...and has been handled alot.  My pal Sarah's ghosts, that she made for a show...looks all fresh and pretty.
My old cupboard for halloween....through out the year I use it as part of my photography station.
I use old drawers to hold pattern....sweet
This is the front side....the christmas design in front has always been a big seller.
My wire tree from goodwill is perfect for my witch ornaments...which are made from chenille stems.
The corner....lots to look at.
Valentine......I love mixing red and pinks!
Garden tags
I put most my hoop art on a chicken wire frame.....a giant gold frame that used to hold a tacky painting from the 70's.
A Christmas stocking with mice stitchery.  Plus the santa mannequin dress form.
Embroidery is one of my favorite things to do...so satisfying.
Candy cane stocking....with lots of tags.
I made this valentine to look like a vintage box of chocolates.
In the back is my heart with changeable wool circles....one for each month of the year.

I love me some St.Patricks day too!
Bunnies are so sweet at Easter time.
I like taking a bundle of wheat and twigs....put them in a big pickle jar and then hang up halloween ornaments on them. There is my turkey on a stand.  I love owls too!
Wicked witch pinkeep....and stacking pumpkins.
At the top left is one of my oldest designs....a bouquet of halloween goodness.
I really love pumpkin men or ladies
Everyone wants to buy my raggedy girl.....she is a sweetie
Boy that skull is sure staring at you!
I had a great time at the show....and met some really really nice ladies.....loved hearing their stories and all!
Another shot from where our cash register table sat.
Hope next year will be as fun!

Come to thrifty thursday  , the party bunch and pin me linky party!
