I wanted to share this lovely wool Halloween pillow that Pat Carreon made and shared with me...made from one of my freebies.  She decided to use the design with wool instead of making it a stitchery....it is so cute.  Her blog is lovely....she does such beautiful work!!!  Her doll designs are so pretty...check them out!  Visit her Etsy site too!

Washington State Quilt show this weekend!!!!

Come to the Quilt Show this weekend.....there are LOTS of fabulous VENDORS (including myself..he he) and a wonderful display of pretty quilts.  This show is one of the best in the country!  There are 3 days to see it...Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

This is one of the raffle quilts....this is "Fred" and "Ginger" is another black and white quilt you could win. I will have my designs and patterns, unique supplies, and some one of a kind items to buy.   Quilt shows are so much fun....even if you have never sewed...it is inspiring and the shopping is amazing!  Hope to see you there! 

Spooky witch- trick or treat bag

Wow...is this trick or treat bag spooky!  Not only is she scary/ugly ...she is also sporting some vampire teeth....a double whammy!  I love treat bags of old...the new ones look a little dorky unless they are copying the old fashioned styles.

I want to share with you the sign I made and have in my studio above my work table.  You can copy (Click on it to enlarge it) and save/paste.   I really believe this quote has pulled me through....so that I can get alot more done!  It is a really true statement.  I think alot of people quit before they even get started....just starting and trying is HUGE! 

I never give up on my dreams...I just keep pushing....my business is always growing and changing.  Go for the things you want in life....time is fleeting.....Seize the day (I love it when Robin Williams tells the schoolboys that in "Dead Poets Society").

I love needle-felting on pumpkins of wool felt.  They feel so good.

My crows are big and make a great large display.

This is always a huge hit at shows....just what a witch would would if she got a stocking of goodies.

This is also popular and very vintage like.  He is one of my first designs I ever made.

This cat has banners you can change to suit the seasons.

Anytime....is nap time!

This is my "Trix" when she was a teenager.  She was playing with the other kittens...like crazy.  At the time we had tons of ribbon, rickrack, and strings hanging from our trees in the backyard...we called it "Crazy string land".  My daughter and I had great fun creating this.  Trix was playing and then literally fell asleep in the crook of this tree...just like a kid who is too tired to admit it.  When I got the camera...she was waking up...probably cause we were laughing so much at her.

My Wolfgirl

This is my daughter Selina.....also known as WOLFGIRL!  She got this cute hat-scarf-mitten thingy at the fair a couple weeks ago. 

Poor Trix got caught.

Selina is such a card!  She is in eighth grade and having fun in softball right now.  She has so many ideas.....that are really good.  She might be an inventor or cop or singer/songwriter or designer or artist or baker...the list goes on and on.  I try to teach her all I can, so she will be ready for her beautiful life.
