Oh Blarney!

Oh Blarney ....St. Patrick's day is upon us!
I took a few pics of my holiday decor...this my cross stitch piece and two leprechauns.
I have a really long skinny tree that is perfect for any holiday...now it is decorated with all my shamrocks and tags.
I really is festive!
This tree was pretty cheap from hobby lobby during Christmas.
I've had this leprechaun forever...he never gets into any mischief.
I collect colored glass for my windows...
I put each color in a different box so I can get to the right ones when needed.
This is a fun assortment...my father is the little boy in the photo.

And now for some random stuff I purchased......

I LOVE TITANIC
and recently I went to a cool museum that travels the country....
it was fun, though I already know pretty much everything....I have a huge collection of books and other memorabilia. The coolest part was seeing all the objects that were found on the bottom of the ocean and brought back up.
I had to have the teapot and cup plus...wine glasses.

I got this sweet ballerina in a trophy at a spring craft sale...so cute!
I was always in awe of the jewelry boxes with them inside.

Derpy mouse....so ugly its cute!

In a bag of easter items in a thrift store....I notices these vintage plastic easter bunnies and duckie amongst weird items.....99 cents for the whole bag.  I was in heaven.

I am alos a huge peanuts fan and found this sweet picture booklet.

The photo book is small but so darned cute.

a big wood bowl for my table top...perfect for my easter eggs!

Whenever I see orange and black....my eyes go crazy....I love anything halloween.
This is the coolest art book for kids from the 40's.

Fun valentines....

Easter....

and oh yeah...halloween.
4 bucks for this book full of goodies!

What's happening....in 1913

I got a cool magazine....it's only 102 years old.
I love the fashions that were in it!
Just gorgeous!

This was right after the Titanic sunk....and there is an article in it about what happened to the
Astor baby.  John Jacob Astor died on the Titanic, but his pregnant wife made it.
I love Titanic....so I was in heaven to see this magazine for only 3 bucks.

Can you imagine stuffing yourself in a corset everyday?
No thanks!

These ladies definitely came from high class...they probably didn't do anything but charity dinners.

The outfits are cool...but soooo glad things have changed.

It just show you how different the world was 100 years ago.
Women were just ornaments.

This is some weird paper project...creepy clown alert!!!

I know it is hard to see...but this is the advice section.....

Here they tell you how to get rid of cockroaches....
I have never seen one in Washington state....I did in Texas.....but I think cockroaches would laugh themselves to death with this tip!!
Crisco....my mom's favorite!
She made great chicken with it.
I love how this ad shows doughnuts....yum!

So now you know the latest.....from 1913 that is!

Come to Thrifty Thursday!  Come to the Pin me linky party!  Come to the Party Bunch!

Never let go- Titanic sign & more

Well the 100th year anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic has come and gone.  I watched endless shows on the subject and even saw the movie again in 3-D which was great.  I have a huge collection of books and memorabilia.  I made up this digital sign ...available on my ETSY under my digital sign section.
I love this saying...so romantic.

This is great for a Wedding or bridal shower

I love Halloween....and I know it is early but I sell Halloween all year long....People are so into it!

Me and my hubby are vets....so this is close to my heart.

We are very patriotic....this country is great!

What a great saying...so true....one should never give up on your dreams

More fun for weddings...remember when the wedding ceremony said...I now pronounce you man and wife?
How weird!  That doesn't fly with me!
Have a fabulous Monday!!!

Come over to the party..... at Whipperberry....see all the creative things everyone has been up to!

Titanic 3D...yeah!

We are going to see Titanic on the big screen today in 3D!!!  My daughter was born the year Titanic came out so she is super excited.  Here are some Watercolor paintings I did....when the movie came out....back then I was doing ebay....and I did lots of these paintings...all sold....forgot to save one for myself....big mistake!

All I have are some pictures and some scans.  It was fun though....I loved seeing the auction prices go up too.  Can't wait to see the massive ship on the big screen and see my daughter face as she watches!
Buttered popcorn anyone?!!!

Titanic- 100 years ago

I bet you didn't know I am a huge Titanic buff!  I was very interested in it way before the Kate and Leo movie...I read all the books....saw the older movies....collected everything I could.
If only one thing could have gone better for the Titanic...well there wouldn't be a story then.
Titanic sank 100 years ago April 15th....and the movie Titanic is coming out in 3D in April as well.
I had alot of my collection put away....but I decided I needed to get it out for the 100 year mark.
My fav book will always be "A night to remember"....so good....read it if you get a chance.
Also the A&E special on the Titanic is awesome.....so much info and so well put together.
My fav line from the movie is "make it count" written on a note from Jack to Rose.  I think we should all make it count everyday!!!
