Hello February!

It's February!
A whole month of 2020 has past.  January was a very busy month!
I really love this coming month because it will be Valentine's day and I love all the hearts, romance, and love.
Decorating for it is a blast....and it really makes a gloomy month special.
This freebie desktop is all about cute kitties and hearts....get your free phone or tablet wall paper here.
I always put these on my phone and tablet.  Sometimes a stranger will see my wallpaper and ask me where I got it... so please share that you can get freebies here.
and here is where you can download a desktop calendar....the red section is for your computer icons....it makes it easy to see them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here a few New projects I have been working on......
I have been making my monthly cat with balloon patterns....I have from August until March done and ready.  This is February....done in Valentine pinks and reds

She has little hearts on her behind. and a set of pink and red flowers on the corner.

March is also ready.  I happened to have some fun green fabrics and a new shamrock print from hobby lobby. I think green goes well with pink ...purple too though.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All are pastels...my own artwork.
These are large and are on 2 sheets....The Tags are: a Black haired beauty with hearts, Hearts with arrows, Bunny holding a heart, plant of hearts, Queen of hearts and a large heart.
Each tag is 3" x 6"....so they are large.
Simply print, cut out, add ribbon and glitter!
These are great for you to decorate your home, scrapbooking, altered art, crafts, party supplies, classroom valentines and gifts.

I love bunnies....they are not only for Easter!
Those crochet hearts are a breeze to make...look on youTube for videos on how to do it...the hard part is picking one video....there are so many to try.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I retook some photos of my valentine badges.  Over the years I have gotten better at my photography.
They look sooo much better. My background is white poster board and 2 photography lights.  You can buy photography kits online that are not very much money....prices are always getting better.  Plus phone cameras are pretty great now and free photo editing apps as well.

I use lots of ribbons and old book pages.

I also use lace, felt and ink to age the paper. There are 2 sizes.... small pins and larger ones.
They look cute wearing them but also so adorable on dolls.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I made some pincushions for Valentine's day...featuring one fabric and then adding scrappy coordinating borders.
There are some with a decorative heart pin.  All have a sweet ribbon loop so that you can add your scissors to the pinnie.

This one has a sweet doggy postman.

I made many of them...so much fun.

Some have poodles or vintage like valentine card fabric on them.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a sneak peek of a pincushion pattern that is coming out soon!
Look for it in my etsy shop in a few days.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Selina has a brand new needle minder called love letter.... laser cut.
This is highly magnetic...and fits on your hoop, and will not fall off. Just place your needle on the needle minder and it will cling to the top of the needle minder.

Sweet isn't it!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Selina made a new pin pack called : Sweet heart brooch embroidery blanks #725

Add a wash of watercolors to the heart to change the color....this takes seconds...and is really easy!

On this one she used a pretty piece of fabric.

Selina also has New Needle minders!
If you have never heard of needle minders...
they are simply a cute tool to keep your needle close by...say on an embroidery hoop.
There are magnets to make the needle stay put!
She has a sweet kitty cat!
a spooky pumpkin called "Sew spooky"....
Never lose a needle again. Keep your needle close at hand when stitching....this needle minder is cut from wood, with our own cute design. This is highly magnetic...and fits on your hoop, and will not fall off. Just place your needle on the needle minder and it will cling to the top of the needle minder.
They make great gifts for Christmas ....stocking stuffers too.
These are her first six....she will have more in the future too.

Here she is...just turned 20 this week!
Her boyfriend turned 21.

Sitting Puppy Dog Freebie

Happy Friday!!!
Wow....these weeks keep flying by and it is now practically the end of the year!!!
Why did time go by so slowly as a kid?
I love drawing cats....just because they turn out pretty cute, but I decided I needed to draw some dogs.
I usually really struggle with dogs...but I am not giving up!
My dog "Sugar" was an amazing collie...she was our dog when we were growing up.
Years later we had "Linus" and he was a treasure...a german sheppard husky mix...I miss him alot.
Now we have 3 naughty cats!
Just copy and save....then print it out.
This design would make a great mini wall hanging.
Please tell your buddies about my freebies...they come out every friday.
You can pin it on pinterest...or share on facebook!

If you want to get my blog posts by email...sign up ...it is on the left side bar of this post.
It is an easy way to always get the freebies...so you won't forget.
*Please note that all freebies are for you to use to make finished goods (no mass producing) and gifts...they are still legally my designs.
