This is a full length shot, wish I was that wonderful shape.
This bunch of goodies cost about 13 bucks....from papers, to loads of stamps (some still in package), vintage lace tablecloth, ribbons, fabric and more. I was in heaven.
These are my best deal though....two antique quilts (crazy quilt over 100 years old) ...only 9 dollars for BOTH!!! My picture isn't the best, but they are so pretty!!! I am still just thrilled about it. Tell me what deals you have gotten lately, I would love to hear about it!!!

Studio Sewing & Crafting supply tags
These are my supply tags made from Graphics by The Graphic Fairy. From her wonderful site....I used the images for dress forms, sewing machines, thimble, and scissors. I added the words for supplies in my studio and a border around each image. I printed out and added to my pretty papers I had. I used buttons, rickrack, and beads for embellishments. I also added my stamps in brown ink. I love to use scrunched seam binding for the tag strings.
My basket of stamps is now labeled and I know what is in the basket now!
I love having my favorite patterns at hand (even if some of them are my own). The dress form image is so much like my own mannequin pin cushion pattern.
I have millions of buttons!
I also have tons of thread on tons of colors.
You can never have enough scissors.
This shows how many I made....I was having so much fun!
I stuck with a blue/tan/green color scheme.
Thanks for stopping by!

photos
I love buying old photos....it is so fun finding an interesting person. I usually go for woman....I guess I relate to them better...but I have some really funny men pictures where I am wondering....what woman would have kissed that face. Then I remember....oh yeah, they had to marry guys that they didn't love....alot of the time.
Have a great weekend...I am going to garage sales and see the new Will Ferrel movie!

Pumpkin people
Someone is looking at you!
This guy has a super long stem!
I love making pumpkin people...it is fun creating different faces with wool roving and then turning them into creatures or people. Since I love badges, these two got one each. I have made some scarier, spooky ones that I will post later...including a cat. On another note....it is hot in Washington state.....enough already....I am a wimp. I am going to a baseball game and will probably be HOT the whole time. I like the mid 80's....no higher. Anyone hooked to "Big Brother" the tv show.....I sadly am addicted to it...I should be watching "Good" tv programs....but I am drawn like a moth to the flame. :(
