Vintage Christmas finds!

Recently I went to my favorite antique stores and got some amazing Vintage Christmas goodies.
This little character above is something my sister Angie and I joke about...we find them in antique stores and thrift stores...it is the same little face ...only everytime we see it the character is in a different outfit....we have seen a graduate, Scottish folk, soccer players....the list goes on and on.  My sister and I take pics and send them to each other.  We are amazed that there are so many out there!
I LOVE honeycomb!!!
I wanted to have them sooo bad....but at 7.95 each, I had to say no.  Seems heartbreaking to break up the set.
In my dreams....I will have the whole pack!
This is from the Vintage Rabbit....my favorite antique store!
Look at the awesome collection of nativities, snowmen and santas!
This bejeweled number lights up!
The displays in these awesome stores are amazing...such tender care and time to make everything look so cool!
Isn't this sweet?!
I love the vintage charm and it is so well done.
I thought the reindeer and Santa were fun!
The Christmas spirit is all around....so silvery!
So I got some vintage Santa's with diamond eyes....
vintage tinsel...so heavy!
I think I will stick my cards in here.
This vintage planter is adorbs!
This kind of coloring book was a staple in our house....because if nothing else...we had these and color crayons.  There were a lot of fun times ... coloring until the red and black were stubs.
I love this green candy cane...it is so unusual.
I have always collected these seals and stickers...I have always been wildly attracted to them.
They have such great art and simple charm.
Santa die cut. He went in my giant jar of ornaments on my mantle.
I got this wildly yellow/gold angel....and she is at the top of my tree now!
More Christmas seals and old candy canes.
The little box had several to use still.
Corny goodness!
These remind me of growing up in the 70's.
I had to have this incredible pink feather wreath!
I knew I would never see it again if I didn't buy it.
I put it near all my corny pink and blue angels.
I also LOVE tags...they are so cheerful!!!
Snoopy is the cutest!
He looks a little naughty...love him!

Have you gotten any new decorations this year?
Please tell me in the comment section!!!

My weekend away goodies

Well I went to the Tri-cities this past weekend for an arts and crafts show in the park by the Columbia river....it was 108 degrees!!!
We practically melted.
The craft show was disappointing to me....nothing new and my favorite booths were gone!!!
I love to support other artists, but I just wasn't feeling it.
Boo!
The next day was an antique show in another park...and that was fun!
I got this cute little pink chair!
Old pink pillow cases...which have the cutest design...and was only 4 bucks.
I got this book...I read all the historical fiction stuff from Philippa Gregory....they are very good and I get caught up into each one.
Coloring book...one dollar!
Cute drawings.
Oh...here is one set of things I got at the craft show...this lady and husband make notebooks out of old VHS tape covers and from game cards.

I love the game of clue!  We play it alot.
These book marks were made from the sides of the VSH tapes....very clever!

I got the Fawlty towers and Oklahoma notebooks.
This picture of cowboys crack me up....they are super happy and missing some serious teeth.
Thank goodness for dentistry now!
The frame has a curved glass front.
Wrapping paper....
Cool dorky girls...love this stuff.
reminds me of being a kid!
I want to read this...cause I love the movie sooo much.
This cool blue towel rack will make a great quilt show display.
Small pink bird cage...in pink!
I may put some goofy stuffed animal in it....I know that's weird.
a little lady torso and a corn cob pipe.....for my snowman doll.
I love peanuts...and this juice glass is really cute!

I still have a record player so I picked up two unusual records.
Smokey and the bandit....every kid watched this show and we all loved the bandit!

Midnight cowboy....weird and strange movie which I like....and I loved the main music.

Fabric scraps...these are all halloween.
And more bundles...I am addicted to these little guys.

At last lucky said I was taking way too many pictures ....so he butted right in!
Have a great rest of the day!

Antiques....love them!

I love shopping at antique stores....this one called
in Spokane Washington
is definitely one of my favorites!!
I love the bike wheel....full of vintage postcards
Old babies....I wonder what their story is...
same here...
Who loved them and what happened?
This is a chair's seat....a crazy quilt with some embroidery....1901, 1897, 1902...
wow...so old.
two thumpers!
These crack me up....reminds me being on the phone with my sister Cecilia.
Dramatic isn't she!
I would love the mannequin head...hehehe
They really have a knack for displays
Ok...I really loved this....too bad there was no mark to go with....
it is adorable!
I can just imagine the happy boy wearing this Halloween night!
Cute mouse measuring spoon holder!
Kitche!
I think that is how you spell it....lol.
owl and froggy
I LOVED Miss Piggy in the 70's when I would see her movies, collect stickers...etc...
There was something about her bossy aggressiveness that was so opposite of me.
