Eagle in Eastern Washington!

I forgot to mention that we spotted an Eagle less then a block from our house...I took many pictures, but thought this was a nice one. It was trying to get a prairie dog....when we got closer he took off...with a huge wing span. It was so cool seeing it. My daughter was so excited!

Mother's Day is coming!

Mother's day is coming next weekend. I created a Mother's day tag sheet available on etsy and insant printables. Click on picture for a closer look. My sweet Mom passed away 11 1/2 years ago....she was so wonderful and I often think what would she be thinking about everything...like the recession, computers, tv programs, and so much more. She was a child in the depression and always told us many stories. She was also in the Navy and was very proud of that. She raised us 5 children and did everything she could for us. I was her last baby....she had me when she was 37 1/2. She said it kept her young. What a woman!

Feeling patriotic!

Gotta get ready to show my pride and love for the USA! I love to collect patriotic themed decor and have it up most of the summer, starting on memorial day. Both my husband and myself were in the Air Force...my mother was in the Navy and my father was in the Royal Air Force in Britain. He loves America, and when we visited Scotland....he had a great time,but said he would never go back to live, America is just too wonderul!

Designing for Halloween already

Yeah, I am nutty! I am always wanting to create for Halloween!!! These are my Flash cards for Halloween. This SET OF 16 FLASH CARDS...you print them on creme colored cardstock and cut out, sooooo easy. The words you get are: Trick, Treat, owl, Pumpkin, Black cat, scary, skeleton, scarecrow, bat, candy corn, witch, halloween, spider, salem, hag, & ghost. Each one comes with a cute definition and number. They measure: 3 5/8" x 2 1/4".These are cute tucked in your home displays, great for scrapbooking, altered art and much more.

HAPPY EASTER!

I hope everyone has a splendid Easter!!!! My daughter woke up early seeing what the Easter bunny brought her. She was very happy and excited. It is raining here, but Selina hunted before it got too bad. My husband, Dana, is making potato salad, deviled eggs, and egg salad. He loves to cook and I love his cooking. I had a bite of my daughter's chocolate bunny's ear... I forgot how fun that is!

Farm Chicks show

I am going to be a vendor at this year's Farm Chick show....June 6th and 7th in spokane washington at the fairgrounds. This is the best shopping experience ever!!! Last year I bought all kinds of stuff and still wanted more.. There are antiques, hand-made items, and so many yummy things, you will not be able to control yourself.

Celebrating Marie Antoinette

I just created a new collage set featuring Marie Antoinette...the last queen of France. I have it on Etsy and instant printables for $3.29. You can print them over and over. I highly recommend watching the movie "Marie Antoinette" featuring Kirsten Dunst. It is full of eye candy and is fun to watch and at the same time draw or paint.

We had a beautiful sunny day today...it was soooooo nice....since it snowed here only a few days ago..yuck!

It is always amazing to me how many people want Halloween projects during a spring show....I love Halloween so much, but I thought I was in a minority....I don't think so anymore. I ran out of many patterns at the show and had to take orders. Afterward, We went shopping at some cool antique shops... I got some lovely paper items and of course ...old books.
