Freebie friday- old photo

I have to do another photo fom my collection, since I am at the allied arts show in Richland, Washington with my 3 sisters and my daughter.  It is a big arts and crafts show in a huge park on the columbia river.  It usually gets super hot...100 degrees....not good for a gal that gets hot easily.  There is so much to see and buy...very fun.  Then tomorrow we are going to another park where there is an antique show....it is sometimes better than the art show!!!  By the way...I call this gal "The Nose" because everytime I see her I focus on her nose.  I know it is naughty of me...her hair is also interesting.

New Fun Halloween items

This is my pumpkin doll and witch treat bag I put on my Ebay.  I have a link on the left sidebar.   I love making Halloween stuff, it reminds me of being a kid again.  We made so many great Halloween decorations from construction paper...we covered our front windows with them.  I loved making a witch silhouette and moons with bat.

I forgot Freebie Friday

I am sooooo sorry...I forgot freebie friday yesterday!  I was totally into garage sales yesterday.  I got some awesome deals...so excited....from sewing supplies, to beautiful stamps, fabric, antique labels (dennison), old wallpaper (1 dollar for whole box of vintage wallpaper), jewelry holders, glass jars, and containers, and lots more!!  This one guy was trying to give me all kinds of free stuff...he just wanted it gone!  I was in happy land.  Today I am in sad land...my hubby is sick.  This is a lovely photo from my collection for you to copy and save.....she is a true beauty!

Halloween is coming...eventually

These are a few things I put on my ebay.  The mouse pincushion is made from my mouse pattern.  I will have more on ebay and etsy in a day or so...plus a brand new Halloween pattern....that has me very excited, because it looks so good.  I went garage saleing this sunday and I was HOT....not good, but the deals people make on sunday are awesome!!!  I got a box full of sewing supplies with tons of scissors and templates...2.50.   * vintage bingo game...free. * scrabble 25cents*  old iron handle rails 5 bucks*  and lots more stuff (as if I needed more stuff!)

This is a page from my grandma's notebook.  She was a fabulous cook....I am not so into cooking.....but I can and do.  When I make brownies...I end up eating most of it, so I stopped making them and buy at a bakery if I want one badly.  This would make a great background for artwork!!!  Go ahead and copy and save.  Tell your friends about freebie friday (it changes everyweek) and every week on monday is a new pattern on sale! 

My kitty is so darned cute!!!

I just went through a few pictures from last summer....I found my kitty Froy who is one years old now.  No wonder I couldn't resist him at the pet store!!!  The first thing he did when we brought him home was bang his head on the wall trying to catch a string...he just shook his head and continued to frisk!

Now he is big, but still cute!  Selina loves him, they sleep together. He comes when you say his name and has a super loud purr.  He lays on my cutting table when I sew....so helpful.

This is the sale pattern of the week....you can get this on my patternmart  for only 2.99!  This is good until next Monday 7/12.  These make great pins and magnets for your fridge.  They are great to use up those small wool scraps that you just don't want to throw away.  The remind me of living in the 70's....with all the owls and mushrooms on everything!  Remember all the olive green and mustard yellow appliances...oh my!  My Grandma would have loved these.
