Give Thanks Ornaments and foxy

My new pattern is complete!
Give Thanks - 8 embroidery designs....for ornaments and bowl fillers!
I was really falling behind so badly, but I decided that it is better done late than not at all.
It is in my etsy shop for instant download, so you can work on it immediately....
plus on my website for a printed ad mailed pattern...
plus also on Patternmart.
I just love how sweet the Indian's face turned out...love him!
The pilgrims have their utensils ready!
Watch out Turkey!
It's time to give thanks...
There are pilgrims, turkeys, an Indian, apple pie, leaves & more!
They make a great gift and look amazing sitting on a little shelf or hanging on a tree.
I have them in a little cabinet here!
These are the latest in my series of embroidery ornaments....
Here are the Valentine, Halloween, Patriotic and Easter.
These are fun stitching up while traveling and watching TV.
Perfect for little pinkeeps and gift toppers too.
Each ornament has a wool or felt heart on the back.
Isn't he cute?!
I am ready for Thanksgiving!
-----------------------------------------------------
Here is something I have been working on....
It's this fox table mat.....
the design is from the current Simply vintage magazine!
I got out all my wool scraps...
I sewed down the large fox and added big eyes to him.
I love the leaves and berries....it is slowly coming together.
Now it is getting really close to being done...
It is so much cuter in person!
I will post the finished foxy soon!
I have been having the best time making this!

Hope you have a great Wednesday!

Happy Thanksgiving Decor!

Thanksgiving day is here!
For some reason this year...I am really excited about it.
I love the dinner and family...I love the smells...and the laughter.
I love the nostalgia of it.
My sister has to work however...at 4 pm on thanksgiving...which I think should be against the law!
No one needs to shop at 4 pm on thanksgiving....can't we all enjoy the day??
I wanted to share some of my Thanksgiving decor with you!
The middle item...the black cat is a new purchase this year...from Stephanie( Primitive Daisy)
I love SNOOPY!!!!
I have had that lil card for atleast 20 years...it just makes me happy.
Remember crafting with tin cans and terra cotta pots...do you spot them in this pic?
I made this small picture book along time ago...it is full of Thanksgiving days past!
The turkey Selina made when she was just a wee one!
It is a treasure!
I love Dennison books for the holidays.
Yes...I like corny and hokey stuff!!
Sue gave me this adorable pilgrim boat and people....I love it!
Turkey are so much fun to collect...I keep my eye out at thrift stores all year long.
I added a few fabric feathers to my bust.
I also decorated my white deer....he is so fashionable.
I put my new banner on this quilt...love the glitter fall letters too.
My piano... always a favorite area to decorate.
I put my "Pilgrim power" tag on this copper vase.
Small goodies in a tin container...Selina when she was a baby at the pumpkin patch.
My tags come in handy to add to plain decor.
She is a sweety!
I hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Slow & steady turtle freebie...plus more!

Oh....the election is upon us!
Can't wait for things to die down....hopefully it will.
This little turtle is here to brighten your day!
Stitch it into a hand towel or frame it up.

I made a brand new banner....a digital download...instant printable ...only 3.99.
It can hang around your mantle, desk, kitchen or on a wreath.
This SET OF 12 small banner flags WILL GET YOU READY FOR Thanksgiving and fall...WE ARE SO READY!!!!!
I painted the turkey and pie....converted them to the flag shapes and also made extra pumpkins and motifs as an illustration ...so that all the colors go together perfectly.

This is what the collage sheet looks like.
All you do is print, cut out...(add glitter if you want) and glue them onto a string or baker's twine.
The banner can be any length. Each sheet has 12 flags....you could print as many as you need. Each little flag measures: 3 3/4" x 1 9/16".

I also made a cool new inspirational sign!
I wanted a special sign for my office...to keep me going and encourage me to follow all my goals.
This is also an instant download and print item.
It is only $5.99.
My signs are easy...just download and print..I like presentation paper or matte or glossy photo paper best.
I usually get really nice frames at walmart....and sometimes the dollar store.
Come see me and my daughter Selina at the Shadle Park craft show in Spokane!
We are selling finished goodies and can't wait to meet you!

Alphabet series freebie- lamp

Last week we got a correct answer for this week's guess....what "L" would stand for in this alphabet series! Yay!
Interesting pig lamp isn't it?
For earlier letters ...go back to my past Friday posts. Remember ...these would be sweet to stitch up in a kids quilt or on lil pillows.  Fun to color as well. Copy and save.

Next week will be: "M is for ____"
Be the first to guess the correct answer to what "M" could stand for ....and you will get a sweet prize.  Just make your guess in the comment section of this blog post.
One guess per person to make it fair!

Gotta show you my lovely and sometimes corny Thanksgiving decor in my home!
Here is an old fashioned pilgrim from the 60's probably.....it is a vase!
This picture is fuzzy....but it was a favorite craft ....I remember making tons of these.
The pattern came from a craft mag like crafts n things.  I loved the painted pot and the leaves for feathers.  lol
Here is a painting my sweet daughter did....soo long ago...probably kindergarten.
It is a treasure.
I have a long glass container...which I usually fill with ornaments....but I thought I would put this adorable paper Indian in it.
I have a huge pickle jar full of wheat and glittery orange twigs...I like to decorate it like a tree.
My place is full of turkeys and all things orange!
I used to love cross stitch....so satisfying to complete them.
I remember being really proud of this one.

another great old craft.....turkey made from a can and fun foam feathers...hehehe

I collect busts....this one is a sweet child!
I love this design from bareroots....she has great patterns.

Some paper items...the turkey my daughter colored....back in the day.

Here she is in a pumpkin patch.
My piano....with big metal turkey and a cool light.

A dennison paper turkey and a sweet paper mache box.

I made this scarecrow probably in the 80's.
My daughter gave the stink face on this one....lol.
I have great memories with this scarecrow.....I would never get rid of him!
A watercolor of raggedy gals and a funny little turkey.

A small display of crows and my tart warmer light.
Walmart has the best tart warmer lights and scents.

A lot of my decor for thanksgiving really does come from the past....I think it is comforting since my mom passed quite awhile ago and somehow it makes me feel she is close.
