Next weekend is the Farm chicks show!!!

I just want to show you a little sample of what I will have at the farmchick show next weekend (june 6 & 7) in Spokane, Washington at the fairgrounds...I hope to see you there!!!! I will have lots of ephemera, french goodies, badges, artful supplies, mannequins, all things glittered up, and much more. Click on pictures to see them closer. This is a super fun show for all us chicks...last year I had a blast as a customer, so this year I will be both customer and in the show.

This weekend is the artfest in brownes addition park....I am going to enjoy the heat (it is finally hot here) and the beautiful artwork.

Patriotic Pride

I put up all my Patriotic decorations....I just had to show my love for this wonderful country of ours. I also created the Patriotic Flash card set....available on etsy or instant printables. You just print them on card stock... I picked cream colored and cut out. I placed them about my decor, looks so cool. With each card there is a tiny definition....which is fun.

Be Wise, Be kind, Be true!

Everything is coming up roses, or at least they are leafing out now! This is a new little collage sheet I have on etsy. The little flower girls are so sweet! I have labeled little containers with these...just writing in what I want on the tag. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have been working on all kinds of badges...from Bride and Groom ones to Wizard of Oz ones. I also started making paper Eiffel Towers, they are fun to make....and easy.

Eagle in Eastern Washington!

I forgot to mention that we spotted an Eagle less then a block from our house...I took many pictures, but thought this was a nice one. It was trying to get a prairie dog....when we got closer he took off...with a huge wing span. It was so cool seeing it. My daughter was so excited!

Mother's Day is coming!

Mother's day is coming next weekend. I created a Mother's day tag sheet available on etsy and insant printables. Click on picture for a closer look. My sweet Mom passed away 11 1/2 years ago....she was so wonderful and I often think what would she be thinking about everything...like the recession, computers, tv programs, and so much more. She was a child in the depression and always told us many stories. She was also in the Navy and was very proud of that. She raised us 5 children and did everything she could for us. I was her last baby....she had me when she was 37 1/2. She said it kept her young. What a woman!

This was fun and I enjoyed making it look as vintage as I could with party streamers.

Feeling patriotic!

Gotta get ready to show my pride and love for the USA! I love to collect patriotic themed decor and have it up most of the summer, starting on memorial day. Both my husband and myself were in the Air Force...my mother was in the Navy and my father was in the Royal Air Force in Britain. He loves America, and when we visited Scotland....he had a great time,but said he would never go back to live, America is just too wonderul!

This is my new badge pin pattern... available on etsy, patternmart, and the pattern cupboard. I make tons of badges, they are easy and make great gifts. I love adding old book pages to them...old books are at thrift stores..they are so cheap. It is a great way to reuse.

Designing for Halloween already

Yeah, I am nutty! I am always wanting to create for Halloween!!! These are my Flash cards for Halloween. This SET OF 16 FLASH CARDS...you print them on creme colored cardstock and cut out, sooooo easy. The words you get are: Trick, Treat, owl, Pumpkin, Black cat, scary, skeleton, scarecrow, bat, candy corn, witch, halloween, spider, salem, hag, & ghost.
