I loved hearing your feelings about Spring..today was so beautiful here in Washington state....so sunny and warm.  We usually have a bad winter, this year we were blessed with an awesome winter. I  love hearing the birds chirp, seeing trees bud up, tulips come up, and everyone coming outside to enjoy it!!!

Tough times tags

This is my tough times tags #2. I made the first set and they were so popular, people asked for more, so these have a ....lets get inspired ...feeling. There is nothing wrong about hunkering down and working hard for what we want. I am sure the people in these photos worked hard all their lives...alot harder than we do now.

Here is Froy our kitten, 10 months old.....working hard in the studio. He likes his own space!

Now he is tired from all the decision making, glittering, and gluing. Must take a power nap!

Aren't these cute old valentines?!! I love collecting them...they never cost too much and they are so cheerful. Valentines(for children) now days are not very cute at all. In fact, they are downright cheap and ugly. Why can't anyone make cute new valentines for kids to give each other. I really doubt that anyone will collect these new ones in the future (but you never know!).

On a side note.....I feel sorry for everyone across the country having bad winter weather...we got ours last year! This year has been our best winter in years and years. It is funny how that works.....I bought a nice new shovel and have not used it once. Last year the snow was so deep, we broke two shovels. Here is to spring coming...for all of us!

Valentines around the house

These are some of my valentines...I love collecting them. Can you believe the hair-do on the guy above? He has enough hair for 4 men.

I like to put valentines in my antique wire fan, which usually holds old photos. I also love snoopy!

This postcard cracks me up.....so wild for the times. Sometimes I like to think about the lives all these people in old photos had. I especially wonder if the women were treated right.

Something Funny

I had a blast making some funny little signs....this is one of them. I totally agree with this sentiment though....have you ever seen "Whatever happened to Baby Jane".....she looks in the mirror and starts crying.....I don't scream or cry, I just think......things have changed.

Lil Marie Antoinette valentines

This Marie Antoinette valentine collage sheet prints out on a 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper....I recommend matte photo paper. There are tags and labels, and hearts too.
