Last week we got a correct answer for this week's guess....what "L" would stand for in this alphabet series! Yay!
Interesting pig lamp isn't it?
For earlier letters ...go back to my past Friday posts. Remember ...these would be sweet to stitch up in a kids quilt or on lil pillows. Fun to color as well. Copy and save.
Next week will be: "M is for ____"
Be the first to guess the correct answer to what "M" could stand for ....and you will get a sweet prize. Just make your guess in the comment section of this blog post.
One guess per person to make it fair!

Gotta show you my lovely and sometimes corny Thanksgiving decor in my home!
Here is an old fashioned pilgrim from the 60's probably.....it is a vase!
This picture is fuzzy....but it was a favorite craft ....I remember making tons of these.
The pattern came from a craft mag like crafts n things. I loved the painted pot and the leaves for feathers. lol
Here is a painting my sweet daughter did....soo long ago...probably kindergarten.
It is a treasure.
I have a long glass container...which I usually fill with ornaments....but I thought I would put this adorable paper Indian in it.
I have a huge pickle jar full of wheat and glittery orange twigs...I like to decorate it like a tree.
My place is full of turkeys and all things orange!
I used to love cross stitch....so satisfying to complete them.
I remember being really proud of this one.
another great old craft.....turkey made from a can and fun foam feathers...hehehe
I collect busts....this one is a sweet child!
I love this design from bareroots....she has great patterns.
Some paper items...the turkey my daughter colored....back in the day.
Here she is in a pumpkin patch.
My piano....with big metal turkey and a cool light.
A dennison paper turkey and a sweet paper mache box.
I made this scarecrow probably in the 80's.
My daughter gave the stink face on this one....lol.
I have great memories with this scarecrow.....I would never get rid of him!
A watercolor of raggedy gals and a funny little turkey.
A small display of crows and my tart warmer light.
Walmart has the best tart warmer lights and scents.
A lot of my decor for thanksgiving really does come from the past....I think it is comforting since my mom passed quite awhile ago and somehow it makes me feel she is close.

More crafts shows this weekend....love to shop at them!!
Hope you have some to go to!
I'm way behind on my reading-- I love all your Thanksgiving decorations! I also use to do a lot of cross stitch and I made the same one you did. I think I lost mine in our fire years ago. I found it harder to cross stitch with young kids. I just started cross stitching a little-- I have a unfinished Thanksgiving one I need to finish. I love your bareroots stitchery too. Thanks for all the free patterns you post on your blog!
ReplyDeleteI like pigs so I'm going to snatch the cutie. Thanks for sharing.
